Dr. Ravi Chandra J B has Work experience in CTVS: Senior Resident in the department of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, smt NHL Municipal medical college, Ahmedabad, where he had exposure to full spectrum of cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeries. He Worked as assistant professor in Dept of CT Surgery at Sri Jayadeva Institute of cardiovascular sciences and research, Bangalore., a premiere institute, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.This is a high volume centre with about 10,000 cath procedures and 2400 open heart surgeries per year. He exposed to a wide variety of cases including very common surgeries like OPCAB , VSD, TOF PDA, BT Shunt and rarer cases like ALCAPA, and Truncus. Hands on experience: He have had very good experience in cardiac surgeries including congenital, adult valvular heart diseases, surgeries for coronary artery disease, thoracic surgeries, surgical treatment of peripheral vascular disease. Areas of special Interest: Minimally invasive Key hole cardiac surgeries including off pump CABG, valve repair/replacement, closure of septal defectsVATS( Video assisted thoracoscopic surgery) Surgeries for peripheral vascular disease
