Graduated in Dentistry during 1994 and received Master’s in Public Health Dentistry in 1999 from one of the most prestigious institutions - Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere. Academic and also clinical career continued at Davangere till 2005. Initially, I practiced for Dr. K. Sadashiva Shetty (a renowned orthodontist) and later on set up my own individual practice.More than 85 research publications in peer reviewed medical/dental journals are credited in my name. Also a Member of Editorial Board of many national and international journals. I have been an invited speaker on research methodology and ethical issues in biomedical research in different parts of the country. Grabbed an opportunity to visit foreign countries and present scientific paper at the 7th world congress on preventive dentistry held in Beijing, China on 26th April 2001. Also visited San Diego, California, USA in 2011, and presented a poster at the 89th general session and exhibition of IADR/AADR/CADR.
