Got a fistulectomy done from dr Rajeev. The professionalism and care has been exceptional. He is very soft spoken and explained the procedure and after care very patiently.

His team at Ramakrishna is also very good and took care of me during and after procedure very well.

I did not care much as it was not painful, nor was it giving me any trouble. Over the years I noticed that the bulge was growing in size and now being noticed by others too. There was slight discomfort while sitting or doing strenuous work. I took appointment with R.K hospital and was greeted by Dr. Rajeev Premnath; young experienced Surgeon with an enduring smile that put me totally at ease explaining the procedure and the latest technology. Now I had the gut feeling, I was in safe hands and decided to go ahead for the surgical procedure even without a second medical opinion. I underwent surgery on 21st Feb* ****** *** ********** **** * ******** **** The very next day I was made to walk and the fourth day I was discharged. During my stay I was given excellent care round the clock. The nursing staff were excellent, good nutritious timely food according to our health conditions was given. Cleanliness is the top priority in the hospital, duty doctors; the administrative staff are very helpful. Ambiance is good.

What impressed me most was my doctor and surgeon Dr. Rajeev Premnath who is very dedicated, caring loving *** ********* ** *** *****. Even after my discharge and me being back to Doha he is constantly in touch with me giving me all the support and guidance almost every day despite his busy schedule. This is marvellous, although such a busy doctor never fails to answer my queries. I would suggest him to whoever wants to go for hernia surgery.

Dr. Rajeev Premnath is absolutely brilliant!

We had 3 opinions and 3 Ultrasound reports from different places but still weren't able to make a decision because of all the unconvincing opinions given by doctors. The opinions kept changing based on the report and the reports themselves had different results each time! It was very confusing as it was hard to get a definitive answer for a common problem like hernia.

We went to Dr. Rajeev to get a final opinion. He was extremely friendly and was very unique in his clinical consultation procedures.

He was the only doctor in the 4 consultations who didn't look at the reports first as he wanted to do a clinical diagnosis before looking at the reports(so that he wouldn't be biased from what was written in the reports). ** ** ****** *** **** ****** ********** *******

My dad got operated a couple of days later after the consultation and the surgery was performed by Dr. Rajeev Premnath and Dr. Manjunatha(Anaesthetist) who were extremely friendly and kept my dad at ease by having fun conversations! The surgery went great! My dad was able to walk on the same day. He was discharged the very next day.

Almost no restrictions to daily activities.(Needs to wear a belt all the time and shouldn't sit on the floor). The staff at Ramakrishna Hospital were very helpful and very dedicated! The hospital is clean and well maintained as well.

Its slightly unfortunate that such an old hospital in Bangalore with great facilities and staff has gone a bit under the radar. Hoping it receives the recognition it deserves!
