Dr. Radhika Varma is a a senior Ayurvedic physician with over 20 year of experience. She specia-lises in Shalakya Tantra which encompasses the treatment for the diseases affecting the body parts located above the neck which includes the organs of the Head, Eyes, Ears, Lips, Nose, Throat, Teeth, Skull, Central Nervous System and Brain. She also specialises in Neurological disorders (Parkinsonism, stroke rehabilitation, epilepsy); Paediatric developmental disorders (Autism / delayed milestone); Digestive disorders - acid peptic disorders; Infertility; PCOD; Menstrual disorders; Asthma, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, spondylosis, edema, psoriasis, obesity, and lifestyle disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, and stress related matters.Dr. Radhika is a graduate and gold medalist from the prestigious Government Ayurveda College, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. She did her post graduation from Bangalore University. Ph.D. in Shalakya Tantra from IPGT & RA, Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar. She is also a recipient of several awards such as Vaidyamadham Valiya Narayana Namboodiri Dak-shinamoorthy Trust Award - 1993, Nair Service Society Gold Medal, Government Ayurveda Col-lege Teachers’ of Kerala Gold Medal, Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award – 2005 and many others.She has worked as a Professor & Head of the Department for Shalakya Tantra in Ayurveda College, Sulur, Coimbatore. She also served as an Assistant Professor of Ayurveda at SDM College and Sri Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College, Bangalore.
