"Dr. Anthony Pais is a Senior Consultant in Surgical Oncology and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery with over 35 years of experience in the field. He currently serves as Clinical Director & Senior Consultant – Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at Even Group of Hospitals and HOSMAT Hospital, Sadashivanagar, Bangalore, and is also associated with Cytecare Cancer Hospital.Dr. Pais is among the few breast surgeons who is specially trained in breast radiology, including the reading and interpretation of mammograms and early diagnosis of breast cancer. He has undergone advanced training in Breast Ultrasound and Mammogram Interpretation in Japan and the USA, and has trained under the world-renowned breast radiologist and surgeon, Prof. Lazlo Tabar (USA).He has trained and practiced extensively in surgical oncology and oncoplastic breast surgery across several reputed institutes including St. John’s Medical College, Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center, Narayana Hrudayalaya Multispeciality Hospital, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore.An active member of numerous national and international organizations including Breast Surgery International (Switzerland), the American Society of Breast Diseases, and the International Society of Surgeons, Dr. Pais is the recipient of the Dr. Sathyanarayana Setty Memorial Gold Medal for his work in breast cancer and the prestigious Dr. Mahadevan’s Award by the Association of Surgeons of India.An eminent academician, he has published several scientific papers and has delivered numerous presentations at national and international conferences."
