Dr. Preethish Kumar

Dr. V. Preethish Kumar obtained Membership from the most renowned Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) and then completed PhD in Clinical Neurosciences at NIMHANS- Institute of National Importance. This was a 5 year unique programme and first of its kind course in the country fully funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under the Talent Search Scheme (MD-PhD). He developed immense interest in Clinical and teaching Neurology, especially in the field of Neuromuscular disorders and was trained in the same for 5 years. He also obtained a fellowship from Summer school of Myology at Institut De Myologie Hopital- Salpetriere, Paris France. He has collaborated with many international universities like Newcastle university (UK) and Mayo Clinic (USA), Editor of international journals, published around 50 national and international articles in high impact journals and also contributed to several book chapters.
