Thanks for the feedback
Every patient is different and as a treating doctor we believe that understanding the patients symptoms is most crucial in treating, so a lot of time and emphasis is given during consultation, some pts require only 10 minutes some require 20-30 minutes.
As I have reiterated Allopathic Gastroenterology is a science, what differential diagnosis is done after clinical history and examination, needs to be proven by tests and investigations. As a protocol we believe in minimum necessary test and then work on them.
I am reminded of a young gentleman who came with vague symptoms, but when we did tests realised he had anemia, when evaluated he turned out to have cancer of colon. It is almost a year since, Surgery and chemotherapy. Had we not done those basic evaluation as he is young, we would have lost precious time
Idea has, is and will be to give Best care at the minimum but definitive scientific evaluation.
Hence forgive me if I have given more time to the patient before you
