Dr. Prasanna Muniyappa

Dr. Prasanna has completed his MBBS from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubballi and MD Paediatrics from Manipal Academy of Higher Education( MAHE) from Mangalore. He has worked in Manipal Hospital (Bangalore) and NarayanaHrudayalaya and left for further studies to the UK, where he completed his MRCPCH and FRCPCH. He has 13 years of UK experience in Paediatrics and Neonatology. He has worked in the Tertiary Neonatal unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (London)and University College London Hospital. He has worked as Consultant Neonatologist at Northwick Park Hospital (London)and University Hospital of Lewisham(London). He has returned to Bangalore recently and joined Cloudnine Hospital, Malleshwaram to make a difference to child health care. Teaching is his passion and he has a special interest in the neonatal developmental care, clinical risk, cranial ultrasound, and ECHO. He is a trained Neonatal Life Support(NLS) and Simulation instructor. He is a member of General Medical Council(UK), Royal College of Paediatrics, Indian Academy of Paediatrics, National Neonatology Forum and Karnataka Medical Council.
