Dr. Pramod

I was the first adult orthodontal patient of Dr. Pramod and I am writing this review after 15 years of the treatment! I always wanted to write this review but kept postponing and didn’t realize that it is 15 years now. My bad! Back then, a young and emerging Dr. Pramod explained me how important it is to have well aligned tooth not only for aesthetics but from health standpoint as well and convinced me to go for braces. He took extremely good care of my treatment over ~1.5 years, involved experts such as his father Shri Dr. Mohan and Dr. Prithvi and ensured that the entire treatment was done to the perfection with best quality. Such is the quality of the treatment that, touchwood, I never had any dental issues over the last 15 years, and all credit goes to Dr. Pramod. My daughter was also treated by Dr. Pramod for orthodontics, and she too had the similar positive experience. Dr. Pramod has been our family dentist ever since and we never had to look for any other dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Pramod. He is very friendly and takes excellent care of his patients. I wish him continued success.

Dental De Care is one of those rare finds - a conveniently located, fairly priced, full-service dental practice distinguished by the caliber of its surgeons and overall quality of service.

Facilities (Rated 3.5/5): Occupying the entire ground floor of a residence, the surgery’s independent facilities – which include a Reception, Patient Waiting Area, 3 Consultation Rooms, X-Ray facilities, and Bathroom were clean, well maintained and provided for a safe and welcoming environment. The patient pool (based on my visibility) generally drew from a broad cross-section of Bangalorean society – with students, young working professionals, tourists, married couples, families and Grandparents in equal measure.

Appointments and Payments (Rated 4/5): Appointments and bookings are handled over the phone, or in-person, and are digitally recorded with a complimentary text message reminder of your appointment conveniently delivered to your mobile phone 24-hours prior. Time slots were generally always available to fit my schedule and perhaps more importantly - appointments made, were appointments kept – with waiting times rarely more than 5 minutes. Payments are accepted via Cash or Charge with receipts provided for all transactions.

Services Provided (Rated 5/5): A full-service Dental practice, ‘Dental De Care’ provides a complete breadth of services covering both essential care and cosmetic solutions. Most common procedures – such as cleanings and fillings - require but a single visit to complete, with more complex procedures such as root canal + crown combinations generally requiring two sessions.

Dental Practitioners (Rated 5/5): In perhaps the most important facet of care – the caliber of its surgeons - ‘Dental De Care’ truly shines. The practice provides access to a full-service suite of highly accomplished dental surgeons and specialists, to include Orthodontists, Prosthodontists, Periodontists, Pedodontists, Endodontists and Oral-Maxillo Facial Surgeons (many UK / US trained, and with 20+ years of experience). Furthermore, a patient’s care is guided not by general surgeon availability, but importantly, by the specialist best suited to handling a particular procedure. Personally, based on my initial experience with the surgery, I decided to take care of some long-overdue dental work – throughout which, I was always treated by a specialist in the field, and always felt like I was in safe and experienced hands. Special thanks to Dr. K.M Pramod, Dr. Prithvi and Dr. Rozina.

Quality of Service (Rated 5/5): In Dr. K. M. Pramod, I found an accomplished medical professional - patient, caring, with sharp diagnostic skills and thoroughly uncompromising on the overall quality of service provided. Overseeing and guiding a patient’s overall care, Dr. Pramod provides a wealth of information on treatment options and typically detailed 2-3 solutions with varying emphasis on speed, durability, cosmetic viability, cost etc. Procedures are then handled either by Dr. Pramod (for Orthodontics) or specifically by a specialist in the particular field. Frequent consultations between specialists ensured treatment plans remained on-time and on-budget.

Overall (Rated 4.5/5): In today’s world of impersonal assembly-line medicine, ‘Dental De Care’ is a rare find – a socially responsible practice focused on long term patient health. It’s rare to find folks who will consciously steer you away from a more expensive treatment for one far more affordable, practical and better focused on a patient’s particular need – but this occurred on more than one occasion during the course of my treatment. It was little surprise then to learn that over 95% of patients at the practice came from personal referrals and long-term repeat customers. I found myself impressed by the surgeons, extremely pleased with the both the high quality of work as well as overall service, and simply cannot recommend ‘Dental De Care’ highly enough !!

Over the past couple of months, I have been to Dental De Care Koramangala for dental fillings/inlay, a root canal, and an impacted wisdom tooth extraction for a tooth in a slightly tricky position, and hence wanted to leave a detailed review. I had consulted Dr Pramod in the past, and was incredibly satisfied and have utmost trust in him. However, this time round, I am happy to note that the other doctors I consulted here are also experts at their crafts.

Dr Merin is extremely patient, gentle, kind and reassuring, and ensures to take additional steps to make sure that you are comfortable and pain-free throughout the procedure. She talks you through it and explains everything that she does which really helps with the anxiety. She was also constantly available to schedule appointments and answer my questions regarding every procedure I did at the clinic. Dr Uday Kamath was also very patient and thorough with my root canal and had very gentle hands - I was pleasantly surprised to have only mild pain after the procedure as well.

Dr Kishan Paniker, who did my surgical wisdom tooth removal, was incredibly skilled, precise and fast - the tooth was out in just 10 minutes, but at the same time I never felt that he was hasty or impatient. He talked to me before, during and after the procedure to allay my fears and I didn’t even know when the tooth was out, despite there being bone cutting involved. I was extremely nervous for this procedure, but Dr Urvashi was really friendly and helped me calm down and assisted very well, also explaining the post op care in detail and making me feel extremely comfortable to ask all my questions.

Overall, as someone with a lot of anxiety surrounding dental procedures, Dental De Care has made it a lot easier for me to address my dental issues instead of letting them linger because of fear. While expertise with the technical craft is one thing (albeit a very important one), I have also noticed that Dental De Care really does prioritise things like doctor demeanour and pain management during and after their procedures. I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr Pramod for managing to assemble such a wonderful array of expert doctors at a time when it is truly difficult to find a good, trustworthy doctor in the city.

The doctor was very clear in his consultation and had a good approach. The waiting time was also short in my case.

The Doctors are very friendly. They explained in detail what was best for a patient like me😊. I love the way how doctors attended and cared for my problems or my situation and even the cost was affordable. In addition to this, I love the clinic ambiance and it’s very much hygiene. Iam looking forward to go to the clinic again very soon as I have other dental issues to fix, which I couldn’t do before because of a personal situation at that time.

I did a thorough research before I started my treatment with Dr. Pramod. I went to many doctors for teeth alignment but all have suggested that they have to remove some of my teeth for teeth alignment. But Dr. Pramod was the one who suggested me that it can be done without removing any of my teeth.

Now the result is in front of me. Its almost 8 months now and I can see the difference. My all teeth are aligned and now in proper shape.

He is a very polite, humble and understand your problem thoroughly before recommending any solution.

I have been visiting Dr. Pramod for more than 10+ years. He has helped me with implants, root canal and other dental procedures. Both his father and he has been giving me many tips for dental hygiene. He has been very friendly and supportive to me and my family. We have immense trust in his ability to resolve our dental issues in the best possible way even if it means getting other expert doctors from outside. I take this opportunity to thank him, visiting doctors and support staff in his clinic for all their services done for me and my family.

I visited Dr Pramod for tooth alignment a year back. He clearly explained the differences between traditional braces and Invisalign. After the consultation and weighing the pros and cos of each treatment, I went ahead with Invisalign. I was quite anxious at the beginning and had a lot of questions about the process. Dr Pramod was very patient in answering all my queries and that gave me the confidence to go ahead with it.

Invisalign has worked well for me. It was a hassle-free treatment. The aligners were comfortable and removable when eating and cleaning. While I was wearing the braces, they were hardly noticeable and near to invisible. I saw visible results in the first two months itself and in 6 months my teeth were 90 percent straight.

Dr Pramod and his team are very diligent, and they helped me ensure that I was wearing the aligners, following the guidelines, and keeping the appointments. Overall, I had a good experience throughout the treatment!

I have consulted Dr. Pramod (& Dr. Medha) multiple times in Dec (2019) & Jan & have been Highly Satisfied with the quality of service. There were multiple teeth fillings which were needed for my son & wife which were attended to very well. After that I needed to get a new Denture made - the fitting of the new Denture was Perfect the first time round. Both Dr. Pramod & Dr. Medha took the time to explain in detail regarding dental hygiene & other issues. Would highly recommend this Doctor. Also the clinic is ultra modern & very clean. Loved it !!
