Dr. Prabhu N Nesargikar

A Senior Consultant Surgeon with 25 years of International experience in GI Cancer ( Esophagus, Stomach. intestine, Appendix, Colon. Rectum, Gallbladder ) Surgery, Peritoneal Cancer Surgery ( HIPEC and PIPAC Surgery) and Surgical Gastroenterology including Endoscopic Surgery. He is also the Clinical lead for GI Robotic Surgery at HCG centre, where he has been practicing for the last 6 years after moving to India. He is a nationally recognised surgeon for robotic and minimally invasive surgery , and is a proctor for many training programmes.He has completed his higher surgical training from United Kingdom, and further worked as a Consultant in National University Hospital, Singapore. He also has fellowship experience from Seoul, S.Korea. He has published in various journals, and has presented in Conferences across the globe. He has won prestigious awards including the “Young Investigator Award” at ESOT Congress, Belgium and awards at Japanese and Korean Cancer Congress. He is a strong advocate of patient safety, and believes in working with the patient to achieve the desired results through evidence based practice and adopting latest technological advances in surgery.
