Dr. Pinky Devi Ayyappan says "Plastic surgery has always amused her. It empowers the surgeon to create and bring to life one's perception of themselves. The intent of honing my skills and delivering the best took her around the world to be trained with the best of institutions.Here's a bird's eye view of her learning.After completing her MCh in plastic surgery from BMCRI, where getting a seat in itself is an achievement, she traveled to Seoul to learn facial cosmetic surgery, ear reconstruction, and double eyelid surgery. She came back to India and worked under a senior plastic surgeon for a year and then Her quest for perfection took her to Italy where she refined her skills in facelifts. She got selected for a highly competitive and sought-after DAFPRS fellowship in cosmetic surgery which took her to the doors of pioneers of MACS lift. In Belgium She stayed for 3 months during which she was exposed to the entire range of cosmetic surgery, it was like a bonanza for a thirsty soul. Satisfied She came back to her country to offer the services to her people."
