Dr.Pawan Kumar M.V.Sc. Surgery and Radiology, He did his Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry from C.C.C.S.H.A.U., Hisar (Haryana) and continued on to get his Masters in Veterinary Surgery from Bangalore in 2003. He was a topper in his Junior Research Fellowship by I.C.A.R. New Delhi. He was awarded “Best Young Surgeon award” by Indian Society of Veterinary Surgery in 2004.Dr. Pawan Kumar started his career as an Emergency Doctor and Surgeon with C.U.P.A. (a well known NGO based out of Bangalore). Over the years he continued to train himself by attending various conferences and seminars and workshops in areas like critical care, orthopaedics, spinal surgery, radiology, anesthesia and pain management and more. He was recently part of the Small Animal Congress held at Thailand and also attended the seminar hosted by WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association).

My dogs leg got fractured, and he was groaning in pain. I just wanted to take him to some professional and experienced vet in the city. I called up my friend and he suggested me Dr Pawan. I booked an appointment with the doctor and reached their before time. Seeing my dog in pain, he immediately agreed to look into the problem. I didn’t expect, he would be so generous and diligent. His gestures at that time was kind, and as any other genuine professional doctor would have done, he did the same. After 30 minutes, he came out with my dog calm and quiet. In meantime, staff at the clinic treated me nicely. The clinic was good and well equipped with all basic amenities.
After few days, I took my dog to the doctor again for removing plaster and check up. After all process, he said that my dog is fine and can walk properly now. He had been generous through the time and I am obliged to him for this kind gestures. I would recommend him to everyone for his patience, diligence, professional spirit and human nature. Practo has done a great job in listing such doctors on their website. I'm sure, like me, they are helping many more.
Dr Pawan is a professional with great memory, tact, pragmatism and knowledge. He was Wasabi my 10 month old Lahsa Apso's doctor when a strange animal attack rendered him cripple with broken hip bones . A complicated procedure with steel plates joined his bones again and Wasabi was standing same day - walking next and is home today -the 3rd day. Cessna is a wonderful place for pets and the people they own - it is like that - Pets own People and not the other way around. So for truly loving attached and committed pet lovers this is the place to go with your animals.
The hospital has freindly responsible staff and everyone i met was so high on accountability - i am left with some good memories despite the trauma of the incident,

Within the hour he was taken to Dr Pavan who responded immediately , set up an MRI at an outside clinic for the same evening and we were accompanied by a Vet from Cessna

Dr. Pawan goes out of his way for the well-being of his patients. You can clearly see the passion for his work. He takes personal accountability and care. Despite his busy schedule he makes it a point to keep you informed on the progress. I have been going to him for the past 10 years. ** ** *** **** ** **********
It was great - he examined Oreo thoroughly. asked relevant questions. Empathetic to the core. Was supportive. The blood tests and X Rays were done by people who absolutely knew what they were doing. Not once did Oreo shy away from or wince during the entire process. And the truth of the matter is that my pug is now on the road to recovery...I will not be going back to his earlier vet for sure.

Took two dogs in, one for spaying and the other for neutering. Dr. Pawan and team (Dr. Girish and Dr. Ramesh to name a few) have been life savers. the care the take clearly shows that they are not just doing a job, but actually care...
I have not had a bad experience with Cessna Lifeline and would strongly recommend them to anybody who wants good and attentive care for their pet.
Dr. Pawan is methodical and meticulous in his work which appears to be his passion. Given that the deluge of patients is more than the number of specialists we have in India [ canine or human alike], it is tough for someone like Dr.Pawan to be with 1 patient forever, however he has stretched himself during on / off peak hours to cater to the requests of patients in terms of availability and direction to take. Thank you Doctor.
I could not get dr Pavan. Dr Ramesh attended to my dog. He was very good. I would like to make a special mention of Ann she did a great job of dental scaling helped with billing & suggesting what chews to select for my dogs. Despite being busy she was extremely helpful.
I was relieved after interacting with Dr Pawan Kumar when my pet(Paco) had ingested something and required surgery to extract it. We were sure that our pet was in safe hands during the surgery and the post surgical care extended to us by Dr Pawan and his staff was exemplary.
I think Dr. Pawan has been a God to us. I cannot think of going to someone else other than him for Pogey. He has saved her life 3 times. I think he is the best and absolutely recommend him for all pets in Bangalore. Though we have moved far away we still go to Cessena because of Dr. Pawan.
