Dr. Naveen Chandra G S is HOD and Lead Consultant - Interventional Cardiology at Aster Whitefield Hospital. He is working in the field of Interventional Cardiology for over a decade. He has completed his MBBS from KIMS, Bangalore. After completing of MD in KMC Manipal, he went on to do DM in Cardiology from the prestigious institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Kolkata. .He was a former Assistant professor in Cardiology at KMC Manipal. He has been trained in coronary intervention with a special interest in radial artery intervention. Dr Naveen Chandra has good experience in cardiovascular imaging as IVUS and OCT, Rotablation and FFR-guided coronary angioplasty. He also performs pacemaker/AICD/CRTD implantation and other structural interventions. He also has a keen interest in primary prevention of cardiovascular disease. He is actively involved in research and academics and has published more than 30 publications in national and international indexed journals. He has been exploring special and newer interventions in recent years to keep up to date. He has strongly engaged himself in many community out reach programs CPR training, primary prevention, and health talks. He is also an avid runner himself, competing in many half and full marathons.
