Dr. Narendra Rao

Dr. Narendra Rao is a physician with more than four decades of experience. He has worked in many hospitals across the length and breadth of India. He also has worked in The Christian Medical College in Vellore. He has a passion for teaching and was a lecturer at the Kasturba Medical College for over two years, Currently working at Seventh-Day-Adventist Medical Centre & Vibrant Life Medical Wellness Clinic at Bangalore. He completed MBBS from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry in 1977, Diploma in Public Health (D.P.H) in 1984 and Doctor of Medicine(M.D.)in Community medicine in 1985 from the same institute. He is a member of the Indian Medical Association (I.M.A) and Christian Medical Association of India(CMAI). He also is a charter member of the Asian Society of Lifestyle medicine(ASLM) and the Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ISLM). He has a fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine from the Wildwood Hospital and Lifestyle Centre in Georgia, USA and has a certificate from the Pacific Health Education Centre in Bakersfield in California in Public Health Nutrition and allied subjects. He is one of the few physicians in India who is board certified in Lifestyle Medicine and has Diplomate from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
