Dr. Nagaraj Palankar

Feeling happy and contended at Manipal hospital. My dad, a retired air force officer, at the age of seventy five has been admitted here for laparoscopic Cholecystectomy under the commendable care of gastro surgeons - Dr.Nagaraj Palankar , Dr. Satish, Dr. Ram, Dr. Dwarak and Anesthetist Dr.Alia and team. This was done under general anaesthesia. There is a saying that goes God is the healer. But here doctors with the blessings of God above do a tremendous job with their patients. We were discouraged and advised not to proceed with the surgery by various doctors in and around Bangalore since he had multiple concerns like cryptogenic liver sirosis , I HD and various other concerns. According to them his general condition was not suitable for an open surgery which seemed to be mandatory. His condition was critical , it was not safe to go ahead with the surgery and it would make his health deteriorate if we did not opt for it. Fortunately we landed up here and the gastro surgeons here convinced us with their soothing and confident words. My dad got operated on 16th of January 2018 and was moved to the ward just within a matter of few hours. Since then he is being given the best possible nursing care and the treating doctors do their bit by peeping in every now and then to cheer my dad and boost up his spirits. I am extremely pleased to say his condition is stable and we hope to go home very soon. Kudos to the doctors , nurses, housekeepers for their fabulous hospitality which gave us a feeling of well being. we are extremely grateful to them.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. NAGRAJ PALANKAR and his team members. My daughter who is 13 yrs old was diagnosed with pseudopapillary tumor of pancreas. When we went to Manipal Hospital to take his opinion and how to go abt her surgery Dr Nagaraj informed about all the details in a very very simple way without scaring us at all and keeping things so simple which actually was not at all simple.

Till now we heard Doctors are God but for the first time we have seen. Thankyou is a very small word for the work and commitment what he has done to us, as we were completely shattered that what the situation is going to be.

Now my daughter is doing good and she will be resuming her virtual classes soon.

The doctor carried out a laparoscopic surgery to remove the gall bladder for my 77 year old dad. . He was at high risk case of anaesthesia due to his cardiac problems. He and his team did a fantastic job and he recovered quite remarkably. Absolute safe hand.

Medically when they know the patient, before operating they should know what precautions to take,he Didn't know to do a CT scan before operating my father.If that CT scan would hv done and given right treatment he would have been saved instead they just took things lightly.

A layman cannot understand the language of mistakes of the doctors what they do.why they cannot think a patient as their family member and treat them in right way with care.

Because of one small mistake a life Ends...Isn't it a big loss,they just say one small SORRY at the end.SORRY will not give back anything and everything mistakes what have done.

Doctor really helped us like a GOD. We heard doctors are gods , now we can sense it. He is best at surgery , undergone a Robotic surgery, his approach and handled the exact issue instead of hitting around the bushes. Once again thank you so much doctor.

I have undergone a surgery by this doctor where I got the optimal results in the estimated time. ** ** ** ********* ****** *** I am very happy with him. Only thing I want to suggest the management is about the schedule arrangements. It's quite difficult to wait for long period as it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to pass the queue. It will be helpful if this can be reduced.

I had to go through this surgery, had developed abscess; he operated me and placed a seton; still I had pain for a month and was developing more abscess.
