Dr. N. Praveen Kumar was born in Bangalore India. After graduation, he completed his M. D General Medicine from Sri Devaraj URS Medical College Kolar, Karnataka, India in 2009. He then worked in the dept of cardiology in Columbia Asia, Bangalore. He later completed his fellowship in noninvasive cardiology from Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital, Bangalore. Post Graduation he started working as a consultant cardiologist in BMJH. Presently he is the assistant professor at Sridevi Medical College Tumkur. He started Samiksha Heart And Diabetic Care in the year 2013 to provide cardiac services in Yelahanka, Bangalore.Presently he is the visiting cardiologist for all the major hospitals in and around Yelahanka. Dr. Praveen has a clinical interest in preventive cardiology, lipid disorders, and cardiac imaging. He is known for the diagnosis of both common and rare, complex cardiac disorders. He has obtained certified degrees in diabetology and advanced hypertension management. His goal is to maintain the old-fashioned physician/patient relationship while applying the most advanced technology for diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and diabetic disorders.

Visited Dr, complaining of chest pain, the Dr said in next one minute that I need to do, tmt, echo, ECG , vit b12, vit d etc. * **** ** ****** ****** ** *** *** ****** ** ******** *** ******* *****. That being the case I think every patient should do this tests and only then visit him. Also he said he won't see reports from any other centre but their hospital only. **** ** **** *** ***** ******* ***** ***** ***** *** *************** * ***** ***** ** ** * *********** ** *** ** ********** *** ******* ******** ** ***
I did all tests but didn't see him with reports, but went to another doctor.
Went to take advice and concent for Dental implant ater by pass surgery as required by a dentist.
Instead of advice, he wanted me to undergo TMT , Echo etc by paying Rs.3000. He said without these tests he can't advice or do anything.
He said if I want I can go and claim My Rs 500 paid to Practo but within minutes I received his bill and Practo says no refund is possible.
He asked me why did I undergo CABG?
Nobody undergoes heart by pass surgery for fun?

From the beginning he was telling me that he does not want to argue. I went for advice not for argument.
Just wasted money and time.
The doctor was good and explained all my doubts clearly.

We visited Dr. for my Son showing up Covid symptoms. Dr. immediately started his treatment and recommended for ICU observation as my son's conditon was not good . He consulted Hospitals and provided online consultation and helped to get admission. Post discharge, Dr. continued to provide online consultation and helped him to recover fast. One rarely see a doctor so grounded and hears paitently . The doctor really digs in to know the root cause . I was feverish due to food allergy
Amazingly he did know my other health issue without letting him know and he gave medicine accordingly.the doctor will on precribe for test if only required. I would definitely recommend him

This hospital staff and doctor does not repects patient time. I got an appointment at 12 o clock. Waited for an hour and after multiple time asking with reception they asked me to come in evening. If you are a doc you should respect others time and patient condition.
