I Visisted for the Total Knee replacement (bilateral surgery) for my mother

My Mother underwent Total Knee Replacement (TKR) of both knees in 06/March/2024 at Nano Hospitals. Dr.Mohan M R was the surgeon who did the procedure for my Mother.

Firstly, the TKR surgery itself is life changing. My mother is recovering well day by day by following the procedueres which doctor suggested.

Secondly, the credit of the speedy in recovering goes to Dr.Mohan M R sir and the physiotherapists who were involved and helped us during this process of recovering.

Dr.Mohan M R sir is friendly and assuring. He listens to the problems, explains the issue in detail and answers any question you might have.He makes the patient feel comfortable and gives proper attention.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr.Mohan M R sir for anyone considering bilateral Knee replacement surgery. His proficiency, dedication to patient well-being, and exemplary post-operative care make him an outstanding choice for individuals seeking a skilled and compassionate orthopedic surgeon. The complete Nursing staff, house keeping, OT staff, finance staff and all others are really supportive in the hospital and responds on time..

Over all we are very happy with all the treatment and taking care of my mother surgery and post that when ever there was any concerns Doctor was available to support.

The doctor couldn’t diagnose the swelling on my leg *** ****** ** ******* *** ****** He just gave me a gel to apply when the swelling occurs. I would rate the clarity of explanation as 2 out of 5.

I was not in position to stand on my left leg after complete ACL ligament tear, PCL partial tear, minor bone fracture and multiple minor issues in my left leg knee. It was great shock to me and my family.

Dr.Mohan Sir guided me for first 25days to recover from my minor bone fractures, after that, he asked me to go for ligament reconstruction surgery.

*21days after surgery*

On 9th March, I have undergone Ligament reconstruction surgery. After surgery, on the same day he spent good time with me and explained what are the treatments he has given during surgery, how my knee internal structure is going to after surgery.

On 10th March morning, he came to me and asked me to walk by keeping complete weight on my left leg, I was wondering! He told me that, "your knee is fully ready and ligaments are fully reconstructed, confidently walk, pain will be there, I will give pain killer, dont worry". I walked with brace and stand support.

On 11th march, he removed all the extra fittings added to my left leg during surgery and made me walk. He told me that, I can go home any time, I got discharged from hospital on 12th march.

on 24th he removed stitches and made me walk with only brace support and without any stand or stick support.

on 31st March, he made me walk without even brace support means without any support. He also made me walk using staircase with alternate steps. For this, he gave me so much confidence.

*About Nursing and Supporting staff, Hospital environment:*

Nano hospitals is having wonderful Nursing and Supporting staff.

Nurses are very attentive and very kind.

Supporting staff are very helpful, when ever I called, immediately they came and helped me to goto rest room.

I find every 3-4hrs supporting staff cleaning the rooms and rest rooms. Hospital is very Hygiene.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH DOCTOR AND HOSPITAL IS WONDERFUL. NOW I AM IN POSITION TO WALK ON MY OWN WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT.

Dr. Mohan M.R was very friendly and caring. He explained the diagnosis and treatment plan very well. The consultation felt like good value for money, and the doctor was punctual.

we had visited for my dad's back injury, the doctor was easy to talk to,listened carefully, and then gave the medication. He asked to get xray done and few days later when we went for follow up my dad asked if he should take another xray and he said it is not needed, I was impressed with this because there are very few doctors who say no to money, and this is one of them.The medication he gave was based on the financial ability, he suggested an expensive injection & told to take only if your budget allows & didn't force to buy it.this is how a doctor should be.

I arrived at 2:30pm, my slot was from 2:30 to 3.

So I waited for 20 minutes for my number as Doctor was busy.

He checked me, listened to my problems and asked to get xray.

And it was around 3pm when i was told to get xray. which took me 10-15minutes. Later on i came back and saw that doctor is not there and according to staff, doctor was supposed to visit around 5pm.

I somehow skipped my office hours for this appointment and now i was with my xrays worth 1.4k but there was no doctor.

So my experience was very bad as

1) I couldnt wait upto 5pm as office was there.

2) what is the point of appointment if i am not getting treated in my booked time.

3) Paid 300+1400 and felt like waste of money.

I want practo take this feedback seriously.

Dr. Mohan was very kind and patient in listening to my problem. He did few checkup and explained me well what is the problem, why it would have happened and what I need to do to avoid. He was very much particular about doing postural activities than going for advanced checkup. He was very clear about the diagonsis method and gave few medicine prescriptions after I insisted.

Visited doctor for cervical spine compression which is mild to moderate and doctor recommends costly procedures instead of suggesting more appropriate for patient. **** ***** ** ******** *** ******* *** ******** *** *** ******** Kindly avoid this hospital and doctor.
