Dr. Meena Muthaiah

Dr Meena, is an amazing, humble and wonderful doctor. I had been to her with sever stomach pain due to a very large endometriosis cyst. She performed the cystectomy. She is always easy to approach, answered all my basic questions, discussed my treatment plan (which not many do) and very conservative in her treatment approach. She explained all the possibilities of the surgery, what are the next steps, side effects of the next steps, etc. She is a doctor whom i completely trust and is focused in ensuring that cyst recurrence should not be there keeping also in mind my fertility. She always displayed compassion and could understand the pain i was going through. She was very confident and instilled confidence in me to stay positive always. Mam i really thank you and will be indebted to your kindness.

We visited for my wife to Dr. Meena Muthaiah, Gynecologist. The experience was NOT AT ALL Good, this was 1st pregnancy of my wife and Dr. did not explain us clearly everything, she was checking only lab reports and understanding by herself only. If we ask any question, then she is answering.See, in this stage patient and their family is in tension, having more curiosity into their mind, if doctor wouldn't explain then patient and their family will get confidence!!I don't recomand Dr. Meena Muthaiah to anybody.

About hospital - one has to wait for over 2 hours to consult a Gynac at Manipal Hospital. You have to go mentally prepared to spend atleast half a day at reh hospital even for a simple consultation. Very poor management!

About the Doctor - I chose to consult this doctor because of her experience and because no other doctor in Manipal Hospital was available for consultation. I badly needed to consult an experienced Gynec for my problems and to get educated about such a sensitive subject (Abortion) and ended up choosing her. I will regret that decision forever!

- I visited the doctor to take second opinion on MTP procedure I had undergone a couple of weeks before meeting her

- the moment she got to know that I consulted another doctor and completed MTP, she immediately disengaged and kept her papers aside

- she did not even listen to my concerns and abruptly closed the conversation by saying "nothing to be done now"

Part of routine pregency check ..In between also we did go there to see the doctor for heavy back pain...After having long wait though it was an appointment ****** she gave dolo 650 tablet ***** ** ** ** **** Part of regular check up for scan went after 3 weeks. The reports came up saying that heartbeat is stopped which has happened on the same day when we visited for back up. But she never had a look in that sense at all. After having all cleanup process right after our scan ...After having 6 week rest due to clean up of stomach...Called for manipal customer care to saying that we need abortion letter and work for fit. They did mentioned to us saying that come down to hospital we will give , hardly 10 mins job. Once we went there again they asked us take an appointment ..Took the appointment per them, waited as usual for a while ... Finally junior doctor came and told to us saying that u r letters are ready and ready to collect, no need to meet the doctor. We asked them why were u guys asked us to take an appointment, there is no answer.

**** *** ******* *** *** ***** ******* ******* ****** ****** ********* *** even though we have paid money for surgery and on top of that simply for certificate of same also they collect the money without doctor consultant though they have mentioned to see the doctor. So now you can think of your life and act accordingly.

. Dr. Meena is incredible. Not only she has taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It is very rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

Dr.Meena Muthiah is friendly and patient with her patients. We consulted her for my wife who had issues in her menopause. The doctor explained the test results, assured us that the issue is not serious and simply prescribed certain good practices for health. No medicines. She asked to re-scan after 3 months. Rare to see such good doctors who advice for health and not just for money.

I visited the doctor at her private clinic (Umayal Clinic) at HSR for my wife. In first visit the doctor was helpful but yes the lady who assigns token was unprofessional in short abusive to patients if not from this part of the country. Switches to the local language to abuse. The part to worry is the doctor has no issues with her behaviour and causes a lot of inconvenience. So better avoid.

She is very experienced doctor. She will treat the patient, with patiency , ******* *** ******* *** ******* *** **** *********.

I'm lucky that, for my two kids , she gave treatment & delivery​ at Dr. Malathi manipal hospital, Bangalore.

I know the doctor from 6 year's​. She is very good & i recommend her.

We are now consulting her for our second pregnancy. She was our doctor for the first one as well - can't think of a single aspect we had a concern or problem with. Always ready to listen and answer the questions we have.

Helped us try for a normal delivery till the last moment, even when it looked increasingly unlikely, but helped make it happen as a normal delivery.
