Dr. Mayanka Nayak

I had taken my wife for her regular eye check up for glaucoma/ocular hypertension. Hospital has a systemic functioning in an online environment.

Dr. Mayank Nayak was very courteous and well explained the condition.

She also tried best to get good results from rational scan as well as perimeter checks.

We had bee n visiting our opthalmologist at hometown |Dehradun. This was our first visit to opthalmologist at Bangalore and we were very satisfied with the experience.

In the interim, we had to meet dr. Deepika John also at this hospital and our experience with her was also good.

Fee structure here is much better than we were paying at Dehradun.

Overall very good and would recommend.

I visited her for dryness, itchiness, burning sensation in eyes. First visit she gave me eye gel, drops and a pain reliever and asked to visit in 2-3 week of time. Next visit, she changes the pain reliever and again 2 weeks and this time only she gets routine dialation and retina checks done ***** ****** **** **** **** ***** **** **** as I told her that my symptoms are from long time but she sent me off without taking it seriously. Lastly she said she will go with some dry eye test after 2-3 weeks of me putting same drops she prescribed.

She takes 3-4 minutes to wrap a patient visit, hurriedly telling you everything in one single breath. There are only 2 doctors in the clinic with good number of patients turning up due to brand name.

Lastly, which I missed checking in first place, she has only 8 years of experience and it shows in her treatment of patients, medical and otherwise.

To check 6/6 eye vision for attesting on railway job application form they asked me 2200rs (500 consultation + 200 attesting fee+ 1500 for eye scanning, ***** ** ******** *** *** ****** Initially we paid 500 consultation and agreed to pay 200 for attesting in reception, but later doctor asked to do eye scanning despite getting 6/6 eye test report from her other department Colleagues. **** ****** ***** *** ******** *** ***** I had argument with doctor and came out of hospital despite paying the consultation fee 500rs :** ***** ** **** ** ***** ******** *** *** *** *********** *** **** ******

I had visited this hospital for mothers eye checkup... We don't receive any doctor prescription as such. Hence my claim has been denied with other docs. I request hospital management to send original doctor prescription which is accepted for the claim. Though they are having all online Invoice system, doctor prescription is very essential for the patient for further follow ups.
