Prof. Dr Mamata Bhagwat MD (Ayu), MA (Sans) DNHE Having professional experience of about 20 years, Dr Mamata hails from a family of Traditional Healers. Late Shri Venkataramana Bhagwat was well known Vaidya through herbal preparations. His healing combinations and unique processing techniques are well known in the deepest forests of ‘Sahyadri Western Ghats’ even today. Having been exposed to the rich herbal treasure of Western Ghats since child hood, and blessed by her grandfather, Dr Mamata is all determined to learn, live, love and teach Ayurveda throughout her life. -She is a researcher with Scientific up gradation and documentation of each and every health seeker’s profile.-She has been a review Author and Editor for International Edition of the great treatise of Ayurveda- The Caraka Samhita-She has published several articles and research papers in various journals.-She has given lectures and talks on Ayurveda at various national and international forums.
