Dr. Madva Jayashankar

Dr M Jayashankar is Head of Department and Consultant for General Surgery at Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, Bangalore. Dr Jayashankar specialises in the field of general surgery with special interest in Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery. He has completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. Dr Jayashankar has also acquired Master of Surgery in general surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. He has obtained Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr Jayashankar had further training in Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery in United Kingdom and India. He was a faculty member at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and later at Father Mullers Medical College, Mangalore.
