Dr Krutika , with overall experience of 7 years in the field of psychiatry , would like to render utmost services to patients suffering from various Psychiatric illnesses through Pharmacotherapy and various Psychotherapies and counselling.She completed her MBBS from a Government Medical College of Karnataka , went on to complete MD Psychiatry affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences .Worked in Government Medical Colleges of Miraj and Kolhapur( Maharashtra) and a Private Medical College in Karnataka. Currently working as Consultant in People tree hospital,Maarga Mind care , Bangalore.She has special interest and empathy for patients of OCD and Bipolar disorder.She keeps herself updated regarding various newer treatments coming up and research works going on.She has publications in various National Journals .She is known to be empathetic towards her patients and explains in detail to the patients regarding their illness, treatment options and various aspects of the illness.She thinks that only patients suffering from Psychiatric illnesses , their family and their Psychiatrists understand what they are going through , which others don't understand and stigmatize them , which she would like to change by increasing awareness about Psychiatric illnesses and help her patients.
