This was my first ever major health issue. My lower body (chest under) lost complete sensation and control after a short lasted tingling sensation and numbness in my legs due to spinal hematoma in the C7-D1 region, which was later identified after a extensive MRI.

Dr Karthikeyan Y.R, and his neurosurgery team ensured that I underwent an immediate major surgery which was a decompression surgery alongwith a laminectomy.

I am so gald to inform that it is the 7th week now after the surgery and now I am able walk independently after extensive rehabilitation, where initially before surgery it was estimated that it may take upto 6 months for me to walk.

So I would love to extend my heartful thanks to Dr. Karthikeyan and his team for their marvelous work.

I was diagnosed with ‘giant aneurysm with thrombosis ‘ . It was the rarest kinds ( report says ‘1 out of 1 crore ‘ ) . I underwent a major surgery- giant aneurysm clipping under total circulatory arrest . I am doing really well and the credit goes to Dr Karthikeyan . I was able to walk within 2 weeks. No words can match my gratitude. Dr Karthikeyan Y R is the most reliable neurosurgeon.

I had visited the hospital and taken the consultation for my mom as she has pituitary tumour because of which she cannot see properly and have poor eyesight. Consultation was fine with the doctor. I can definitely recommend doctor to my family or friends. Surgery was suggested. There was waiting time in the hospital when we went, it was for 1 hour. Doctor was friendly with us.
