Dr. Shiva Kumar is one of the greatest and kindest doctors I’ve come across. He is thorough yet empathetic in what he does for his patients. He educated us of the problems, politely informed us of all the factors that might have an impact and so confidently performed the 2 plus hours of procedure to remove a 58mm stone from the urinary bladder (where all the other doctors upfront suggested an open surgery was the only option). He went above and beyond in handling our case and told us from the beginning that he will be choosing a procedure that best suited the patient. All the rave reviews online are so perfectly accurate. Saying Thank you would be such an understatement for your efforts with my uncles case, we are forever grateful!

Visited the doctor for kidney stone treatment. He advised to undergo lithotripsy based on kidney stone size (6 mm). He said that the treatment will take 30 mins to 1 hour. After the treatment I can go home same day and carry on my normal activities from next day itself. I underwent the treatment based on his assurance and experience. Once the treatment was done he confirmed that the stone is blasted and will come out through urine. He prescribed some antibiotics/painkillers to take for week. I went home thinking that the job was done. *** ** ** *************** **** **** ***** * *** **** ***** *** ******** *********** ** ****** **** ** *** **** ***** *** ********* *** ***** I was in fever and severe pain for almost 15 days or so. On calling doctor he said that it is normal and not to worry. The problem was so bad that I had to skip my office for 15 days. He said that it will take time for the stone to come out. But to my horror that was not the case. On re-examination and consulting other doctors I found that the stone was still there *** *** ********* *** ****** **** **** Overall, it was a very bad experience. I spent so much money and time on the treatment **** ** ******** ** *** ** **** * *** ********* ******* ** ***** ** ********* ************* I would never recommend this doctor to anybody.

He advised a major operation for a 2.7mm kidney stone costing 70k. I was Lucky to take a second opinion from an other doctor in vydehi who just prescribed medines in one go and it got cured.

I had bacterial invention on my penis and he recommended to go for foreskin removal with operation which is un-necessary. He also suggested to go for some tests which costed me around Rs 1300. Normal check up.

next day he gave me some tablets and then i was all right.

Overall not a good experience. He could have given me the tablets on the same day.

After taking Dr Shivakumar's advice, now it's completely cured and my father is in great health. We are very thankful to the doctor

The best thing was ' he is a true human being' . I had taken my maid's son there for some problem related to passing of urine. The doctor examined him patiently , explained everything and in the end when I asked him ' How much should I pay' . He said ,' nothing madam as she is from a poor background' and Doctor didn't charge at all. where do you find such noble human beings.

He is an honest and sincere doctors , which is rare now a days.

Takes decision on proper reports, gives medication which is accurate.

I have seen others comment about doctor friendliness, I don't know what friendliness they expect from a professional doctor. Patients should only write whether they recovered from their problems or not

Really the doctor is friendly speak regarding the issues and give suggestions before treatment.

I was problem for passing urine since last ten years but I did not seen any where.But when I came here and they have given clarity about my problem very friendly and suggest the best thing for future.

Finally I decided to make the surgery but while surgery they have speak with patient friendly up to completion of surgery 5 hours.

After surgery now I am very happy by the treatment their is no pain while passing urine .

Doctor was very rude and did not talk much. Imagine a doctor that doesn't talk much, did not offer any explanations and all he had to say first was to get a bunch of tests done. He didn't even close the door behind when i wanted to talk to him, one needs a bit of privacy, is that too hard to follow. Get yourself someone who is bit more friendly and a bit more professional.
