I visited DR.Poornachandra K.S last month. i was suffering from h.pyloria infection from the last 3.5 months but all the doctors in Kolkata said it was GERD. i was under medication for GERD but since i was not recovering i decided to consult Dr. Poornacandra and after visiting him i got to know that i was not suffering from GERD. he patiently read all my previous records n test reports a . after listening to all that i had to say he suggested that i should undergo a diagnostic endoscopy which was required in my case , and it went quite well. i was initially scared, but later on managed it. the endoscopy report showed that i was suffering from h pyloria infection. the Dr. gave me medicines for a month n now am perfectly fine. before i couldnt eat anything, not even home cooked meal but just after a week of taking the medicines prescribed by Dr. Poornachandra i recovered. i had an amazing experience with him. he is highly recommended by me to any one who seeks a gastroentrologist . am overtly satisfied with his teatment procedure. no unnecessary tests or medicines, only those that are required and necesssary for diagnosis. i give Dr. Poornachandra a big thumbs up!!!!!

I had consulted Dr Poornachandra KS when I had food-poisoning. He took time to listen to all my problems. He had enquired how my food habits were for few days. Hearing to my issue he gave a clue of food-poisoning.

However, I have a suggestion for Dr Poornachandra KS. I was asked where the pain is. I, like any patient, said 'Stomach'. In response, the doctor said that is a very general answer. He was expecting more precise, I guess, like upper stomach or lower stomach something like that. Dr Poornachandra, you can help the patient a little better to get the answer you need. Franky speaking I do not understand the difference between upper and lower stomach pain. I believe, this was just one case and can improve on this.

Having said all that, Dr Poornachandra KS is a really good doctor and indeed solved my food-poisoning in a weeks time. His fixed using some medications and major change in diet. I was getting very tired during my food-poisoning episode. Post the medication and diet I was perfect the next day onwards. He is very professional and happy to get his appointment.

Dr. Poornachandra demonstrated excellent professionalism and attentiveness in diagnosing my condition. He was timely in identifying the issue and ensured that the polyps were removed promptly and safely. His clear communication and calm approach helped us feel reassured throughout the process. I truly appreciate his expertise and dedication to patient care, and I would highly recommend Dr. Poornachandra to anyone seeking a skilled and reliable doctor.

And understand beyond the symptoms, that might involve the mental state,food habit and over the counter medication.

Chronic conditions require some more digging beyond the diagnostic reports. I was struggling to find any gastroenterologist who would spare that much of time anf patience to listen to the comolians in detail.

Dr Poorna Chandra was fully invested on my issues. And I would have a follow up sync up soon. It gives some motivation and courage to deal with some chronic conditions that I alone am unable to understand or manage.

It could be some serious, the underlying problem can be something bigger but atleast having a medical expertise helps to calm me down and feel less helpless. I am quite tired of the endoscopy, antibiotics therapy, and ppi tablets for last 10 years. But no gastroenterologist give enough time to listen to the history or suggest some particular exercise in general. I am happy to meet doctor Poornachandra.

I have been visiting Dr. Poornachandra since 1 year, Recently I have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease(IBD). I have suffered a lot from Chronic stomach ache, blood in stools and loose stools. Finally I have got to know that It is Crohn's disease after my colonoscopy , under medication from last two months , Now Symptoms are Mild, I can feel that My body is healing with Immunomodulators and mesalazine and other supplements. As disease is a chronic condition and it doesn't have any cure, Doctor have made me understand the total treatment procedure and lifestyle modification needs to be done on this. When I lost all hope , he gave that one word "HOPE" I will be fine completely someday. As he said "Medicine Lo Mast Raho". I was loosing weight also almost 13 kgs I have lost, Now again I have gained 2 KGs and its a Good improvements . It takes time to heal and with time it will heal , and will be under control , thats what he made me believe in. I have been referred to him 1 year back by my GP Dr. Dinesh Thakrar When My symptoms were at its pick , though it took a long to diagnose the IBD , still It's worth. We lost everything Dr.Poornachandra and everyday we are crying.Today,was my birthday,I missed my mother every single moments. .Today,she was not with me** **** ** ****** ******* ** *** ******* ***** ************* ** *** Dr. Shabeer Ahmed,he was supposed to do the surgery but instead of doing the surgery,he asked Dr. Poornachandra K S to do ERCP which was not planned before the admission.My mother was fit and fine before he did the ERCP. All the Vital Parameters normal when we admitted her in Fortis Hospital Bangalore.We went for small Gallbladder surgery which is hardly 45 min but after the ERCP my mother went to ICU of Fortis Hospital for more than 50 days and finally she died.****** ****** **** ** *** ** ********* ********* ** ** ****** **** ***** *** *** **** ***** *********** ***** *** it was not planned before the admission.When we admitted her on 13th May 2017,her Amylase and Lipase was count was 32 and 31.52 respectively and within the range.But after he did the ERCP her Amylase count was 1193 (range 28-100) and Lipase count was 355.29(range 13-60).Can you imagine how much pain she underwent because of his wrong treatment.

After the ERCP,my mother all vitals organs started failing.She got Acute Severe Pancreatitis.Everyday,I saw my mother dying slowing and slowing.

Estimated cost for small gallbladder treatment was Rs 80,000/ --1 lakh but finally Fortis gave us bill of Rs 43,10742(Yes,its 43 lakh).After my mother death,I expressed my feeling over Facebook and Twitter which went viral and to settle the matter Fortis Vice President came from Gurgoan to my house in Bangalore to settle the matter. I am still searching for the answer - Kya paisa maa se jayda hota hai, kya mera loss jo hua hai woh paise se vapass aa jayega.
