Dr. Jyoti Matalia

She completed her basic medical education from B.Y.L.Nair Hospital Mumbai and postgraduate training from Mumbai University. She underwent fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismology & Neuro-ophthalmology at L.V.Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and was adjudged as the “Best Ophthalmology fellow”, where she joined as a consultant. She did the ICO fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute, USA. She has published in national and international journals, presented at conferences in India and abroad and made several national and international award winning teaching videos. Her expertises include congenital & developmental cataract surgeries, strabismology, neuro-ophthalmology and visual rehabilitation of children. She is a volunteer faculty of ORBIS International to teach and train ophthalmologists in developing countries. Presently she is the head of Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus & Neuro-ophthalmology at Narayana Nethralaya-2, Narayana Health City, Bangalore.
