My name is, Parvathy. { Latha } Kannan from Mumbai. 62 years old. Suffering from Diabetes T2. For past 11 years plus. Insulin with daily dosage of 30ml apart from heavy dosages of medicines were part of my treatment in Mumbai, Chennai Canada & USA. Dr.Hema venkatraman is a wonderful person . She takes time for each patient and explains how to manage their health issue and guides each of them with utmost care. She is a divine intervention in my health journey and has helped me to shed 25 kgs of weight even during my perimenopausal phase....when i myself was in a stage of giving up. She has helped me patiently whenever i have approached her forvevery single challenge i faced during my health journey. Dr.Hema is very experienced, endocrinologist, consulted for my dad , as he has frequent hypoglycemic issues... She addressed the issue well, so patient in listening and explaing all queries ... While most doctors believe in medicines especially diabetes.. she stresses on lifestyle changes , exercises, she makes sure each patient understands the value of nutrition in diabetes , and ensures each patient to follow the nutrition, she also asks patient to share their daily meal pics to her on whatsapp ... And follows daily ... In between the appointments too ... she offers the best treatment in modifying the diabetic medications , especially decreasing the dosage of insulin and slowly taking of the insulin and converting to oral tablets in longstanding diabetes patients and if a patient is new ... Everyone says ,Dr are the other face of God but no one has seen God .But for me ,I have seen Him in the face of Dr.Hema Venkataraman.

My mother has started this session in first week of April & having sugar about 380 with a very high dose of anti diabetic medicine as she was diagnosed with Type-2. Everyone said to start insulin and even my mother was mentally prepared for it .But suddenly Dr.Hema joined the group ,post 10 days and with a lot of discussion and trying different diet and drugs , in just 2 .5 months my mother sugar level came to normal & that to without insulin.It was a miracle for us . A small intro about me! Suffering from Hypoglycemia for past 8 years! Suffered a lot of hypos are one of the difficult symptoms that one can experience in his life.
