Dr. Harini P Shetty

We initially started to consult Dr. HARINI SHETTY Madam for my wife's pregnancy. From second trimester we consulted elsewhere at my native place. But then, on my wife's 34 weeks and 5 days, there's an emergency at night 11.00 that amniotic fluid breakage happened and I called HARINI Maam for support. She waited for us at hospital till we arrive and upon checking the status of my wife's pregnancy, planned an immediate Ceasrean delivery. Blessed with Baby girl and all thanks to HARINI madam for the tremendous support through out!

We consulted Dr. Harini Shetty for a delivery. Initially when we came to Dr. Harini, we had been in another city for close to six and a half months and we were consulting at some other clinic. We then shifted to a new city in Bangalore. We were very skeptical about how the doctor would be or how the doctor would react if we were changing the doctor and the city at this moment. But Dr. Harini was very very accommodating. She helped us sail through the process very smoothly.

Even though we joined her after six and a half months* *** *** *** *** ** ** **** *** *********** ****** The number of tests we took was very

minimal. She supported us all through and she said on day one, when we met her, that we will try for a normal delivery till the last moment. Finally when the delivery date came, we successfully had a normal delivery as well. My wife and I were very happy with the kind of treatment that we received from her. She was very considerate and whenever we needed her, we could consult her. The wait time was also very less and we could come in during the day or even sometimes in the evening.

The best thing about this hospital and Dr. Harini was that she was available till 8 pm so it was easy for us to come post our work hours and consult the doctor whenever we were free. She had also given her contact number so we could contact her in case of any emergencies. ******* ** *** * **** ***** ********** *** we are thankful to Dr. Harini for successfully delivering our baby girl through a normal delivery.

The doctor explained everything very clearly and was very genuine and concerned. I felt comfortable with her throughout the consultation. However, I am a bit concerned about the appointment booking system on Practo, as the available slots shown do not always match the doctor's actual availability, leading to longer waiting times.

I’ve been coming to Dr.harini from the time I have been expecting my first child and today I’ve had my 3rd child as well delivered by her only and since then I’ve never been disappointed by her. It has always been a really comforting experience with her and she’s very much concerned about her patients health from the start to the end of the delivery till the discharge. There’s are no doubts whatsoever with her treatment and care it’s absolutely a wonderful experience every single time…KUDOS TO HER…!

I took an appointment for 7.30 PM. I got 5 minutes late. But when I approached reception, they gave me form to fill and afterwards disappeared. Another staff came at reception but told she will not attend. Only one staff is there for registration.

At 7.40 PM, I asked doctor’s status. I was told she is in OT and expected to come in 10 minutes. Later, I was informed it would take 15–20 minutes more.

At 8.00 PM, my registration was finally completed. At 8.15–8.20 PM, I again asked about the doctor’s availability, and I was told it would take another 15–20 minutes.

At 9.00 PM, finally my turn came. When I went in, the doctor was communicating more with the nurse instead of me and did not listen to my concerns properly.

I had a **** bad experience. ** ** ******** **** ** *** ***** ** ****** ************ *** ****** ******** ** **** ****** ** ******* ** **** ***** **** ** **** *** ***** ***** *** ********* ************ ********* doctors should listen more attentively to patients, who are already anxious, and help calm them by addressing their concerns properly.

I do not recommend this doctor for pre-pregnancy consultation**** ******* *** ***** ****** *** ******** ******* *** ****** ** *********** ******* ******* During my first visit, I waited for almost 50 minutes before meeting her. I understand that doctors can be busy and some patients may require more time, so I did not mind the wait. However, the actual consultation lasted barely 2 minutes. She simply advised me to undergo some tests. I understood that without test results, she could not provide a complete assessment, so I agreed to proceed.

Later, the prerequisite condition she had mentioned for the tests did not occur in my case, so I booked another appointment. My appointment was at 11:00 AM, but I was called in only around 12:40 PM. Again, our interaction lasted only a few seconds before she suggested a scan. After the scan, she prescribed a medicine, which was helpful, but that was it. There was no advice or explanation, and the consultation ended. I thought that perhaps once the test results were available, she would be able to explain what was happening with my body and provide some guidance.

Trusting the process, I completed all the recommended tests, which cost me approximately ₹12,000. In addition, I paid consultation fees of ₹900 for each of my three visits. When I returned with all the test results, I waited nearly another hour before seeing her. I expected a detailed discussion of my reports, especially since they included several fertility and pregnancy-related hormone tests.

Unfortunately, the consultation was once again ********* brief, lasting no more than 3–4 minutes. The only thing she mentioned was that my Vitamin B12 level was low. She then asked whether we should start treatment. Naturally, I wanted to understand why treatment was required, what the diagnosis was, and what the test results indicated. However, I received absolutely no explanation. During the consultation, she escorted me out of her room herself and immediately called in the next patient.

I specifically asked whether I would be able to conceive naturally. Her response was, "We'll see. First do a semen analysis, then we'll see." My concern was not about predicting the future with certainty. I simply wanted her to review my reports and explain whether there was anything concerning, whether * *** ******* ********* ** ******* any of the results indicated a problem. She had nothing to say. She did not provide any meaningful interpretation of the reports despite being the doctor reviewing them.

At that point, I realized that continuing to spend my time and money on further consultations would not be worthwhile. Most of my questions were answered with, "We'll see."

The entire experience was highly disappointing.

** ******* ************** *** *** ******** **** ** ************* *** ********* As a patient seeking pre-pregnancy advice, I expected some discussion about fertility, ovulation, conception planning, hormone levels, or at least an explanation of my reports* *** ******** *** **** ********** ***** ** ******* *** ******** ******* ************ Despite repeatedly raising my concerns and asking questions, I felt that my issues were not addressed.

She may be a very experienced doctor, and I am not questioning her medical expertise. I am only sharing my personal experience as a patient. For me, the consultations felt rushed, ****** ********** *********** and did not provide the guidance I was seeking despite the significant time and money invested.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend her for pre-pregnancy consultations or for patients who are looking for detailed explanations, guidance, and discussion about their concerns. I had 3 consultations with her, and the same thing happened all 3times.

I did not feel that the doctor explained anything clearly during the consultation. She kept asking questions repeatedly but did not give any suggestions or listen to me properly. The online consultation had background noise which was distracting. Overall, I was not satisfied and would not recommend Dr. Harini P Shetty.

I had a wonderful delivery experience at Ovum Hospital under the care of Dr. Harini Mam. From my pregnancy through delivery, she was incredibly caring, patient, and supportive. She explained every step clearly, gave me confidence, and made me feel safe throughout the entire journey.

Thanks to her expertise and calm approach, my baby girl was delivered safely. I am truly grateful for the excellent care, professionalism, and dedication shown by Dr. Harini Mam.

Doctor was very supportive from beginning starting with fertility treatment till baby delivery. Doctor was always available at any odd timing also during any doubts or emergency. Overall I am very happy with the care and treatment given.
