Dr. Gururaj Biradar

Dr. Gururaj Biradar is truly one of the most exceptional doctors I’ve ever met. When my 17-year-old son was diagnosed with dengue fever, we were extremely worried. We had consulted other doctors before for various health issues, but it was Dr. Gururaj who stood out with his keen insight and compassionate care.

He took a proactive approach, recommending specific blood tests and closely monitoring my son's condition. His calm demeanor and thorough explanations helped ease our anxiety during a very stressful time.

Thanks to Dr. Gururaj’s timely intervention and guidance, my son recovered well without any complications. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication make him a doctor we deeply respect and are grateful for. Truly, he feels like a blessing to our family.

Dr Gururaj Biradar, indeed the most treasured doctors that I have been privileged to meet. My 9year old daughter has visited other doctors multiple times for cough, cold, fever & other ailments. But it was Dr Gururaj Biradar who identified that my daughter having thyroid in her throat..a condition called lingual thyroid. I was so stressed.

Dr Guru sir took active approach & asked us to do few blood tests & thyroid scan. He also referred us to pediatric surgeon. Fortunately with God's grace, no surgery was required

Dr sir started my daughter on thyroid tablets as her thyroid levels were low. My daughter is absolutely fine now. Dr Gururaj is truly God sent. Never met such a friendly & professional doctor..

Our experience with Dr. Guru is very comforting every time we visit. My five year old just loves him. Dr. Guru is extremely patient. He listens to patients very carefully and is very involved in every interaction. He is one of the few doctors who does not only treat illness but comforts patients with his compassionate attitude. I recommend him without any doubt!

Booked an appointment from Practo for which my appointment was not confirmed and got a call from Manipal Hospital saying doctor won't be taking any appointment today, only walk-ins are allowed. When visited the hospital I got to know that appointment were booked for the same day but my appointment was not confirmed for me. Later the receptionist asked me to wait for an hour for doctor consultation and vaccination.Basically, ½hr task got delayed by 2hr.

I am writing this review to share our disappointing *** *********** experience with Dr. Gururaj Biradar at Manipal Whitefield. My 9-year-old son was suffering from a severe and continuous dry cough, and our encounter with Dr. Biradar was nothing short of disastrous.

We initially consulted several pediatricians and later a pulmonologist at Manipal Whitefield due to the emergency nature of my son's condition. He was admitted to the hospital for 4 days, during which Dr. Biradar prescribed steroids to suppress the cough. However, this temporary solution only masked the symptoms; every time my son stopped taking the steroids, the cough would return as before.

After discharge, Dr. Biradar prescribed medication for 3 days, but my son's cough resumed immediately after completing the course. We were ****** ** return to the emergency department at Manipal Whitefield multiple times. Each time, Dr. Biradar's response was to prescribe more steroids—first for another week and then for 21 days with a moderate dose. Despite these repeated treatments, my son's cough persisted.

After spending approximately three weeks under Dr. Biradar's care without any improvement, we decided to stop consulting with him and sought help from an ENT doctor instead. My son was admitted for 5 days under the new doctor's care and finally received ********* treatment.***** ********** **** *** ******* *** *** **** *********** *** **** *******. ** *** ******** ************* **** ******** **** ******* ** ********* ******* **** ************* * ************ **** ** ************* ****** ** ****** ***** **** ********

What struck me as particularly concerning was Dr. Biradar's approach during both OPD and IP consultations. Despite there being no other patients waiting, he would spend minimal time with us and seemed uninterested in listening to our concerns. During in-patient visits, he would often leave the room within a minute without addressing our issues thoroughly.

While it is true that Dr. Biradar has a pleasant and confident manner of speaking, this does not compensate *** *** ********** treatment he provided. *** ******** ** ******** ******* *********** ***** ********* **** ******** ********** ** ********* ** ************* ******** I would advise others to think twice before consulting with Dr. Gururaj Biradar. *** ********* ******** ***** ***** *** ************* **** ***** ************ *** he seems more focused on quick fixes rather than finding and addressing the root cause of the illness.**** *** *** ****** **** ****** *** **** * ***** *** ** **** ********* *** *********** ********** **** ***** ***** ** **** **** ******** ********** ** *** ********* ***** *** ********** *** **** *********** *** ******** *** * **** **** ****** *** ***** ** * ******* ** ****** ******* ******** ******* **** *** ***** *********

Very unhappy/ exhausted mother. I never recommend this Doctor Gururaj Biradar.

I will tell you honestly, ** ** *** *** ** ** ************* Such a ignorance and not responsible at all.

I have consulted him in Manipal hospital Whitefield. Btw he knows my kid and my family from day one of my kid and that is how I blindly trusted him. ** ** **** ******* ****** ***** ******* ** *** **** ***** ** **** ***** *** ******* ****** ** *** ******** **** ** *** ******* *** ******* ********* ** ** *** *** ** *** ******** **** ** *** ***** ** **** ** **** *** **** ** *** ***** **** *** *** **** ** **** ***** ** ****** **** **** *** * **** *** **** *** ****** *** *** ***** ******* **** *********** * ***** ** *** * ****** ** **** *** ***** *** ********* ** ** *** **** *** **** ** **** But dear parents’ carful with your kids and don’t trust blindly anyone and make sure he is giving proper medicines and understand the kid condition and monitor closely. and I always recommend having a friends or family circle doctor seek their advice and support.

I would like to explain the entire incident here.

My kid 4-year-old was not well. Symptoms are life cold fever and cuff, and I also had a blood test done where the CRP % was little Hight this was my issue then soon after I visit Dr Gururaj Biradar, he told we need a admission and need to admit for 4 to 5 days then it will be fine. Then he gave me admission form and he called somebody from emergency department and suggested few blood tests worth of 15k but none of the reports are +ve and the issue what he supposed to check (CRP %) he didn’t perform only. And finally, he started the treatment for pneumonia, *** **** ** *** ***** ******* **** **********

But very next day morning only my kid is not even talking to me and saw that he started swelling mostly on the face and neck region and when I try to feed him forcibly but my kid said, mom I am unable to swallow anything and my neck is paining a lot then I try to touch his neck and observed large swelling around the neck and I immediately called the doctor and trying to explain my problem but no body was listening my words * **** ******** ******* ** **** **** *********** ***** *** doctor is not willing to listen at all and finally someone suggested to do the neck ultrasound but nothing was observed and I was speechless I have no solution and no one willing to looking at my kid but I was finally hoping on god to save my kid . because I lost all hops with this Gururaj. and finally, I was checking with Nurse. The nurse said that doctor suggested to change medicine so after 20 hrs. of the issue report the nurse started with new antibiotics and with that, I observed the swelling reducing ** **** **** *** ****** ** *** ***** ** ***** *** ******* ** ************* ********* ** **** ** *** ***** ******* ********* ****** anyways the treatment continued for only swelling around the next for 4 days nothings else was done. Other wise I didn’t observe any fever in my kid and he was able to eat some food with that I managed to get the discharge and visited the doctor and told anyways whatever happened is happened and I stay in remote place where I cannot come to hospital immediately ad I need your advice incase of any fever/ any reactions after discharge and he said he cannot answer the call but he will be available for messages but after 3 days of discharge I try to message him saying that I see fever during night with my kid but I waiting for 2 days he didn’t response only for multiple messages be careful with this kid of doctors.

I have all the proofs and details with me. * ***** **** ******* *** ***** ******* ******* ** **** ** *** ** ** **** ****** I'm not good at writing part. I would like to explain rater if someone had already faced similar issue.

Dr. Gururaj Biradar, pediatrician was easy to talk to, did an excellent job answering all of my questions, and I really appreciated the time he spent with us. He was very gentle and kind ** *** ** ***** ********* ************** I am happy with our visit.

Mr Gururaj has a pleasing persona and is extremely comforting. He is patient, attentive and gentle while attending to the babies. I’m certain that once you visit him, you’ll want to consult only him for everything with regards to your baby going forward.

Dr Gururaj is very experienced and very comforting. The first impression will itself increase your confidence level. He is very relaxed and makes you feel the same too. You need not explain a lot to him, you start explaining and he understands what are you trying to say. He explains well. He helps a lot to understand a new born very well, which is the toughest part. I visited him with my son who is 26 days old. And have decided to continue further with him.

Request all patients/parents to check the cost of vaccinations before doctors administer them to your baby. In my case, the Doctor gave my kid a vaccine worth 5440 Rs without my consent or without sharing the cost of the vaccine. The doctor did not share the cost before injecting and I had to pay almost 8210 for vaccination - see attached bills.

I had to pay 8210 Rs by phone pay. * **** **** ******* ** *** ************ *** ****** I only visited for a cough and cold and inquired about only an Influenza shot but the doctor added a meningitis vaccine which cost me 5440 Rs extra.
