Dr. Girish S.P is one of the few qualified and experienced GI Surgeons in Bangalore. He has graduated from KIMS, HUBLI and VIMS, BELLARY with distinction. The Post-Doctoral training was from one of the premier institutes in Country G B PANT Hospital (Moulana Azad Medical Collage) New Delhi.Apart from GI training, he has done laparoscopies and a liver transplant fellowship from Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi and SMC Seoul South Korea.He has vast experience in Open and laparoscopic surgeries with complex GI conditions, including cancers of the GI tract and Bariatric surgery & Pancreatic surgeries.He has performed more than 500 pancreatic surgeries, 100 liver surgeries and more than 5000 laparoscopic surgeries. He has presented original papers in many “National and International Conferences”, has been author of chapters in textbooks and addressed many scientific gatherings.He has worked in institutions such as Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, Manipal Hospitals and Narayana Hrudayalaya Bangalore.He has a special interest in Laparoscopic Liver and Pancreatic Surgery.
