Dr. G M Prasad

My experience with Dr. G M Prasad was good. The doctor explained everything clearly, and I would recommend them to others. I would rate my experience a four out of five.

This was my second visit to Dr. Prasad. I had been under treatment for subclinical hypothyroidism with a daily Thyroxin dose of 25mcg when I visited him in Feb, 2016. . Once he looked at my test results and history of treatment, he told me I didn't really need to be under treatment as my condition is very mild and it was also the first time any doctor had told me I actually had Autoimmune Thyroditis. I went off of medication for two months. Today, I visited Dr. Prasad after getting a fresh test of FT4 and TSH done and everything is normal. He said I can stay off the medication for another six months. I'm super happy that I don't need to take a tab every day. He's advised that I watch my diet and get regular exercise to avoid putting on weight, and to also get the same tests done every six months. I'm very happy with him because he thinks out of the box, explains your condition to you really well, and does not prescribe medicines unless absolutely necessary. He also made sure to let me know that even if I do have to start taking the meds later, it's no big deal, and that it's a condition that's very easily controlled. He put me at ease about it. He explain me that we need some test and we have done with those. As i have Hypothyroid so the treatment is for long term and and i am still continuing with the doctor. As of now i am not that much impressed with the treatment but as everybody know that Hypothyroid treatment takes time so i am continuing the treatment. the medications are same only measurement will change what i was wanted to know as kind of explanation about the effect of treatment and drugs those i am taking on regular basis At least once in a month i should know the effect of the treatment. That what i didn't get there. In brief he has explained me about the treatment but in details i am not aware about the the effect of treatment on my body.

He use to spend five to six minutes in consultation. The appointment time is not like that first come first serve.who ever is sitting in the reception they are not following the appointment process efficiently.Either it should be first come first serve or according to the appointment time .Either the things they are following in the clinic for patient seeing to the doctor. As I have visited first in the clinic but i could not able to see the doctor on my turn May be reception person knows that another person so they have given them chance to see the doctor first. I could see my name was written in the register but i could not get chance to see him first . These are things where they can improve their practice. Overall experience was okay kind of.

I visited to GM Prasd for my father he has some problem. There was no problem while booking the appointment. The consultation as really good.The doctor prescription really hel;ped us. The time which i have selected for that we just waited for five minutes. My father came here for his treatment and as i have selected Dr prased that he has good recommendation. The only small concern i had there was some delay on geting the investigation report but we have ignored it as doctor was really good we were impressed with him. I absolutely like to recommend this doctor.

As we wer planning to see a good endocrinologist from a long time so finally we saw Dr prasad and got to know he is very good what he is doing as he has helped us a lot. As a matter of fact, His opinion was that he would going to cure the problem which my father had.I heard of Dr. Prasad through Practo he has highest recommendation in that particular area. so decided we decided to meet him. He is very articulate, very knowledgeable, very kind, and gave me a tremendous amount of hope that my father's problems could be treated effectively. We never thought of that kind support and hope we have received from Dr Prasad. W were thrilled, and look forward to a distinct improvement in my quality of life.

Looking at the practo reviews I had chosen DR G. M Prasad, On my first visit doctor was not available though I was on time to the clinic, saying that he has an emergency case.

I returned home after booking another appointment for the next day. He suggested some medication for indigestion and asked me to get abdomen scan for occasional pain. Scan reports came normal except that small kidney stone detected in the left eye. He suggested me to see urologist in Aster where he practices as well stating that the kidney stone might be a reason for my abdomen pain.when visited urologist they suggested me for for shockwave treatment for breaking the stone and conveyed that the kidney stone does not cause any abdomen pain which DR GM Prasad must have known but could not help and asked me to proceed further with removal of the stone. I did not like the management and staff @ Aster for so many reasons so wanted to take second opinion and visited Columbia Asia Hospital and urologist there said the same that kidney stone does not cause pain and gave some medication for abdominal pain and constipation which I had expected from GM Prasad.

Still I'm not convinced how a physician with so many good reviews could not treat a simple constipation problem.

I took an appointment for my dad since he was new to Bangalore and wanted to get a check on his medicines. **** ****** ******* ****** * ****** ******* decides to list a number of tests to my father and tell him to do it in his clinic for 5000INR or else he will not be able to do the further checkup.My dad even asked if he can do the tests somewhere else and come back with reports and he denied helping with that.******* ***** ***** *** ** ********** ** ****** ** ** **** ******* **** ****** ** *** ***** ****** **** ******

I am being visiting since 3 yrs. DR. Prasad is excellent the way he adivses his patients how to take care of ones health. He enforces that medicines are not the only sources, however he also helps us underatand how we can eliminate the drugs during the course by taking proper intakes. He encourges and gives a hope to look life into positive stride. I have seen doctors who have increase the dosage at once and I have gone speechless for 4 hours and Dr. Prasad is the one who explained me after a weeks time what was the cause, post his medications and observation. My mom has visited and I had also referred one of my Aunt here. They all are doing good.

Visited the doctor on first day of my fever and had throat infection as well, he asked to go for blood test including dengue test. Dengue test came negative, doctor told dengue can not be detected on first 4 to 5 days. Then what's the point of doing dengue test on first day it self? Medical tests costs me 3700 and doctor fee is 500, worse part is doctor fee will collected fully for followup visits aswell, even for next day also.

I will not recommend this hospital as they suggest unnecessary tests and cost of tests are much inflated compare to outside.

It was my first visit to the doctor. His consultation was satisfactory. I was asked to take some tests and come back.Due to hectic traffic I was 15 mins late to the clinic so Dr left and clinic was closed.I called the Dr and he came back.. Opened the clinic and consulted me. No Dr would do this..Me and my husband were just amazed by this. If somebody else they would have asked us to come the next day.we also felt bad to trouble him.I would recommend anybody in the future to consult such a kind Dr.tk u.

we are visited Dr km Prasad for internal medicine 15 days back they give me medicines for sugar two type variants insulin and for bp 9tab per day,now my dad is facing some problems **** ** ******* right now he is suffering from renal problem **** *** ******** **** ******* ********** I don't recommend this doctor
