Dr. Moin Mohammed Bhavikatti

I was having a condition of prostate enlargement for last few years with its typical issues of

weak flow of urine, needing to pee urgently and/or frequently etc.

I had consulted quite a few doctors from reputed hospitals and I had even tried Ayurvedic and Homeopathy, but nothing was working.

Finally I thought let me Google to check if I have a Urologist near to my house and fortunately found Dr Moin Mohammed Bhavikatti in R.T.Nagar.

I was highly impressed with his credentials online and thought I should consult him.

The first I met him, my admiration for him grew and I was certain at last I have found the RIGHT doctor.

I was sure I was in safe hands.

He listened to my issues patiently and saw all the medical reports I had carried and suggested few tests to undergo.

After checking the reports, he prescribed few medicines for me and also indicated on the possibility of the surgery.

However unfortunately my condition deteriorate so much that I started getting acute pain while passing the urine and also urine was almost blocked.

I immediately went and met him on 30-Dec-2022.

He said we can't wait further as there is huge collection of strictures in the Urethra.

I got admitted in Makstar Super Specialty Health Centre on 31st Dec 2022.

After the laser surgery, I was discharged on 01-Jan-2023.

It is not the ideal way to celebrate the new year eve :)

After the surgery, the recovery was pretty fast with minimal discomfort.

He gave me few more medicines post the surgery.

After a fortnight, he asked me to get abdomen scan done.

The results were amazing and post void residual urine volume was almost negligible.

Now he has suggested to continue the medication for prostate enlargement, and he sees no need of the removal considering my younger age.

Below are the points I would like to highlight about the doctor.

1) Very efficient and knowledgeable

2) Diagnosis the issue quickly and prescribe the tests and medicines that are essential.

3) Listens to what patient says patiently

4) He is very amicable & friendly with a pleasing personality

We consulted Dr Moin for my mother who is 83 years old and she had to undergo a cystoscopy procedure. Dr Moin is highly proficient and would ensure that the family of the patient feels very comfortable as he goes through the treatment. Dr Moin is highly responsive and we had a very good experience right through the whole process. I would highly recommend anyone with urology related issues to consult with Dr Moin for a positive result.

These PPL pressurize you to pay amount in cash. When I asked for reason Mr Moin says current account is deactivated, they are in the process of creating new one. It's 4 day now, I don't know how much still time is needed for a new account. Per day they charged me 35k and gave me a book slip receipt like a stationary shop. When I asked about the per day charges they say we are giving powerful injections each costs 3599. I understand it costs that much, let's say if you guys give 4 per day also its 10000(per day bed charges, doc visit, nurse visit) 3599*4 = 24396/-. I still don't get how they are adding 30k amount each day. In one of the bills they claim to be given 5 injection, per day Max only 3 has to be given **** **** **** ********** Finally the bill amount is shooted to 3 Lacks for just 4 days. **** **** ** **** ** ***** **** ** *** *** **** ** ****** **** **** *** ******** ** **** *** *** ****** *** ********* **** **** ******** *** **** ** **** ***** **** *** **** ******* **** *** *** ** *** * ****** ** ****** ***** * **** **** ***** ***** *** *** ********* ** **** ***** ******* **** ************* ***** *** ****** *** ** ******* *** *** * ***** *** ****** *** **** *******. Everytime you visit him, you have to pay consultation charges. I understand for OPD, but for the patients who are treated in your centre.. they too have to pay!! Anyways totally disappointed.I regret!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor during treatment for a recurrent UTI. He advised 3 days of IV antibiotics (9 doses) *** ******* ** ******** *** **** ** *** ********** ** ******* * ******* ************ ****** ******** *********. ** * ******** * ******* * **** *** ***** ** **** **** ********** ** ***** ************ ** ** *** ****

Additionally, I was repeatedly asked to travel more than 10 km for ultrasound and CT scans at specific centers recommended by him. **** * ***** ** *** ** ********** **** ** * ******* ********** **** ** **** *** *********** *** ** ** ****** ********** he was not supportive and insisted I should have done it at the location he suggested.**** * ******* *** *** ******* ******* ***** ********* ** ****** **** ********* *** *** ***** ***** ***** *********** ***** ********* *** ************ ************ *** ******* ******* ****** ** * ******** ** ******* ***** Unfortunately, this was not my experience here.

I do not recommend Dr. Moin Mohammed Bhavikatti at all.

He seems calm and nice. but, I had bitter experience with doctor,My father was needed SPC procedure and Dr. was attended him twice and he didn't bother to even see or talk to patient but told to Jr Doctors to treat.. They tried their best but they couldn't because it was little complicated. I felt doctor was missing the empathy for his patients, anything you ask you will get single word answers only.. I spent over Rs. 5K and wait of 3 days just to listen that further treatment needed.
