Thank you Practo for this amazing app! My 2 yr old son had developed a skin infection on his scalp which was causing a lot of pain. Going through practo app, we came across Dr Dhananjaya (many people had recommended him). So, we drove 35kms to his clinic and we were not disappointed.
Dr Dhananjaya came across as a very patient, competent person who heard the entire problem from us and asked relevant follow up questions. My son is afraid of doctors and soon enough after entering the room, started crying. Dr Dhananjaya handled him very smoothly, all the while quickly doing the needful.
He spent almost 30 mins with us (even after finishing the dressing) answering general questions from us about nutrition, development etc.
Thank you Dr Dhananjaya and Practo.

Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
Dr. Dhananjaya is an experienced paediatrician who listens to patients problems and analyses its causes and gives instructions to prevent and provide only necessary medicines( so well he explained when and how to give antibiotics) .. when we said we will go for blood test , he explained when its necesary to go for blood test and stopped us going for blood test unnecessarily for our 2 year old kid.. finally its worth visiting Rakshya Clinic.
Have seen patients visiting him for treatment from distant places like Jaynagar , JP nagar and even from Kanakpura, Hosur. Thanks Dr. Dhananjaya for your public service.. I would personally recommend him for Paediatric patients ..
Visited For Autism Spectrum disorders Treatment
I met Dr Dhanajaya a year back for my kid. That time kid was unable to speak. Dr. Diagnosed our kid for ASD and referred us to another hospital.
We consluted few other paeds before, however no one was able to dignose anything.
Dr. Dhananjaya gave right diagnosis and referred us to right place.
Now the kid almost out of ASD now and just bcoz of early diagnosis and intervention.
We did not get a chance to meet him again since we moved out of EC.
He is another god to us.
Good doctor, patient to listen to your problems. Prescribed good medicines which are effective.
My son suffered acute infection and had high fever for 3+ days, I rushed to him at night after being disappointed by another doctor, who was not able to diagnose the real cause. Dr Dhananjay immediately took over suggest a couple of blood tests and within an hour they gave the reports which confirmed the infection. The treatment started in time and now my son is fit.
Thanks doctor. Recommend for all
Visited For Stomach PainFever
My son had stomach pain, fever, cold, & cough. Doctor gave prescription and suggested to give stomach worm syrup once fever cold, cough comes to normal(visited doctor on 28-06-2016). After giving all medications and recovering from cough, cold, fever once in a while my son was getting stomach pain ( i.e. after providing all medicines) I called up clinic and asked for emergency as I stay 20 km away from the hospital and the time was all most 8.30 pm and was raining., as my son got stomach pain again. I was told the doctor is with other patient and they will scold the receptionist, and agreed to speak to them later. Even after so many call, I couldn't get connected to the doctor.
Also, I had a query on providing stomach worm syrup to my son on that day and didn't get the prescribed brand. I requested to get connected to Dr. Dhananjaya C D but response gone vain as doctor was busy with other patients. Later Dr. Dhananjay gave me streaky SMS explaining that he would not provide prescription over phone. And giving service to poor people for Rs.200/- as consultation.
Administration should be streamlined in the hospital. First is receptionist coordinating with patients, and one more incident I would like to add here is, I met with an accident and on the way I went to Dr. Dhananjay and I was directed to ward boy for dressing for my wound on my fist. For small would, ward boy put a bundle of bandage even though I restricted and ward boy said the dressing charges would be more than rs.200, you settle less amount with me & he will get discounted in dressing charges, at that heat of the moment I gave Rs.50 to the ward boy and got charged Rs.800/- totally.
Really embarrassing to recap the answers/experience how I faced with the Rakshaya Multi-speciality Hospital .
Visited For Paediatric Critical Care
I have nothing to say about the credentials about the doctor as I have not tried his services but utterly disappointed with the clinic and the attitude of the doctor. Don't understand why a kid who is burning with fever needs to open his/her shoes while visiting the doctor when the receptionist and the staff are happily wearing their own.
The explanation given by the doc was that it will increase the infection and will carry germs. Really??? For god's sake, it's a clinic and there is bound to be germs everywhere, is that how you curb it?? Imagine the Narayanas and Apollos doing so....Hopefully the clinic will come up with a much better way of controlling germs rather than making sick patients remove their footwear..It's a clinic not a temple. To say the least if you guys are so bothered then start keeping plastic covers like they do while visiting ICU's...or start having proper housekeeping staff rather than giving such lame excuses..
Also I noticed that the visiting charges are Rs 250 on weekdays and Rs 300 on Sundays..it was printed near the reception..Are we having a buffet here with additional items on Sundays??
Since Ananth Nagar is staring to shape up in a big way, hopefully we will soon have a much sensible clinic in the neighbourhood...
Visited For Childhood Infections
Wait time was more than 70 min. Unhygienic clinic and doctor was unapologetically late. He touched slippers before entering his room didn’t even sanitise his hands before touching my kid. He was rude and spent hardly 2 minutes listening to our concerns. He is an ex professor *** ****** ******** ******* ** ****** ******** *** ******** The hospital had empty sanitizer bottles and I had to ask the nurse to fill it up . 600 is overrated for this kind of facility and Doctor.
good but not gr8...... As he is PED Doctor the min expectation of the parents is that the doctor should be able to mingle with the kids. But that was not there. Mingle means try to win the attention of the kids, which is very much require for a PED. But except it was good... No Complaints....
