Dr. David P. Tauro

I’m a 25 year old female. I had been researching about plastic surgeons who can address my issue since 4 years. After a lot of time & effort into finding one, I got to know about Dr David Tauro in reddit discussions. Initially I was not so sure because I was very scared of surgery & also very much concerned how the outcome will turn out to be. I had 2 problems- Pouty mouth & saddle nose because of which I had low confidence, low self-esteem and eventually developed Cameraphobia & Scopophobia but had no idea what procedures can enhance my facial features. On my very first consultation with Dr Tauro in Oct 2021, I felt very happy that I finally found someone who will instill confidence in me. Doctor identified that my small & receding chin is the reason for my pouty look & low bridge-wide tipped nose the reason for my saddle look and could be corrected by Genioplasty & Rhinoplasty respectively. I consulted Dr Tauro multiple times because I was concerned about the outcome. I showed him ideal facial features I was desiring. Sir was kind and patient enough to listen to me how much ever silly I sounded and promised me that he’ll enhance my profile in best possible way.

Doctor’s Assistant, Neeta ma’am is an amazing person, very kind, friendly and warmly greets and welcomes me every time I visit the clinic. She clearly explained me everything about the procedure, how my facial features can be changed, the do’s and the do-nots, everything crystal clear and has been there by my side as a friend during pre-op & post-op. After repeated consultations I finally had my surgery on March 2nd, 2022. It was a 3-hour procedure done under GA and later that day I was shifted to ICU and to the ward the next morning. During my 3 day stay at hospital, I was very well taken care by the entire team. Dr Tauro visited me every evening and checked upon my healing. From what I heard about plastic surgery, I thought my face would ache & be swollen for a month. To my surprise, I had minimal pain & swelling. My pouty mouth & saddle nose is gone. Now it’s been a month since my surgery and I’m already looking so pretty with sharp facial features. Needless to say, I cannot look better than this. Sir gave me the best possible features. I am now not afraid of camera any more. He instilled confidence back in my life.

Apart from Dr Tauro’s professionalism and his profound knowledge and experience in the field, I must also mention about his kindness, his friendly nature I really adore. Just a day after surgery sir told me I am his favorite patient, I have to say he’s my favorite doctor too! Both Tauro sir and Neeta ma’am were really very sweet to me. Neeta ma'am was always available, patient enough to clear all my daft doubts. I never felt I came for a surgery, it was more like a 3-day vacation. We actually became very good friends. She also helped me with a personal problem. I’m forever indebted to them for their kindness & compassion.

I would highly recommend Dr. David Tauro, he is absolutely amazing at what he does. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a class 3 underbite where my lower jaw was way more forward than it needed to be, which made eating and talking very difficult. I was told I’ll be needing surgery to fix this when I’m older because it was a severe case which could not be solved by braces and chin masks alone.

Fast forward to this year, I started looking for doctors who would perform the surgery. I had consulted 6 doctors before I met Dr. Tauro. I wasn’t happy or comfortable with any one of them, they all had contradictory opinions and honestly really scared me. It made what is a scary surgery seem 10x scarier. My doubts and questions were not answered in the way I would have liked. A few weeks later, a friend of my mother’s recommended Dr. Tauro to me, saying he’s one of the best maxillofacial surgeons in India. I had already visited so many doctors at that point, I didn’t have the energy to meet another one and explain my situation all over again. But I’m glad I did. Dr. Tauro immediately identified that it wasn’t my lower jaw, it’s my upper jaw that’s way back and it needed to be brought forward. He was so kind and helpful and explained the entire problem to me and I had gotten the assurance I needed from the doctor to go ahead and do this surgery. Communication and comfort are important factors when you plan on going through something as massive as jaw surgery and I'd say Dr. Tauro and Neeta were very approachable in every sense of the word. It is very important to have a doctor who makes you feel comfortable about the process and confident about the healing and results and Dr. Tauro and Neeta did just that.

I had my surgery on 17th Sep ’21, and post that, they made sure to constantly check up on me as I was very weak and groggy from the surgery (as expected). It’s a known fact that you expect severe facial swelling post surgery and all the doctors I consulted before had told me my face would be swollen for 4-5 months which was really horrible to hear, but Dr. Tauro assured me his way of surgery would not cause much swelling to my face. Within a week or two, 80% of my swelling had gone down and I could see the changes in my profile. I never expected this to turn out so good. Not only can I talk clearly and eat better now but my face looks 100x better what it did post surgery, and I’m amazed by my new smile and profile. Neeta has been extremely sweet and makes sure to check up on me regularly and see my progress. She will answer even the stupidest of questions I will have without any hesitation, and has played a huge role in my recovery too.

I am almost 3 months post surgery and I don’t even feel I had surgery done on my face now, that’s how great Dr. Tauro’s work has been. I am extremely happy that I came to him and would recommend everyone else planning to get a facial surgery to do the same. Since my childhood I had problems with my teeth and lower jaw, had braces but the problem of lower jaw was not solved. The prime thing about dr david sir and neeta are.. they constantly make u feel motivated with confidence and remove all the anxiety regarding. After that I got set and took the date for the surgery, neeta guided us in every aspect, I call her neeta didi. On the big day for surgery both david sir and neetadidi welcomed and encouraged me with a confident smile while going to the operating room,I then took blessing from david sir, he blessed me with big smile and said relax everything will be great and fine. And neeta didi ,what I say about her she was with me throughout the surgery holding my back, pampering me like my mom..like a family. I am and will always be grateful to her, she is like a family to us. After surgery it was great to see that I was having no pain and lil to no swelling. After two days coming back home the next day I removed bandages from the chin area and what I saw was....new me....with new chapter of my life, I was so amazed and feeling on the top when I saw the results....my family was so impressed and proud to see new me..it was that moment when my family said that it is only dr david who cud have done this...just perfection at it's best. My mom hugged me and said god always bless on dr david sir and neeta.when I talked to neeta about, she said it's just the few days you will get even better after months. My daughter was having a receding chin i.e., having small chin and projects backward, but we gave little attention to it thinking that it is genetic and can’t be corrected. That is during June 2013, an eye specialist, when met him for eye checkup, advised us to go for a jaw correction which is possible and will improve appearance. We met a maxillo facial surgeon during Aug 2013 at Chennai who explained us about the problems of small jaw and likelihood of developing breathing problems if it is not corrected. Then I believed that Jaw correction is required not only for improvement in appearance but to avoid breathing problems also. In this process I searched through internet about mandibular advancement , read so many articles and watched many videos. I met many dentists requesting them to suggest good maxilla facial surgeon. On their suggestions, I met 4 to 5 surgeons at Chennai and Hyderabad which made my mind develop some more worries about jaw surgery. Some of the impressions I was given are:

1)More painful

2)Face will be swollen and will be like a football for a period of first 15 days of operation

3)Surgery to be performed in 2 stages , 1 for mandibular advancement and 1 for genioplasty

4) Upper and lower jaws are to be kept tied for 6 weeks

Added to the above fears, there were some more discouragements from friends and relatives. Via media, I went for ortho treatment which didn’t give me much satisfaction. So, I continued my search when I got reference of Dr. David Tauro through a person who got his jaw surgery from some other doctor. ** **** ** **** *** ***** ** *** ***** ****** ******* I started enquiring about Dr. Tauro through different sources including some dentists at Bangalore. *** ******** ** ********* ***** ** **** ** **** ******

Finally, I took appointment of Dr. Tauro at Taulins Clinic on 29.09.2019. He was kind enough not to cancel appointment on that day though he had to attend a complicated accident case which went on for 8 to 9 hours. All other appointments were cancelled that day. We 4 of us in our family met Dr.Tauro at around 7 pm .He is very simple and we fell like meeting a very familiar person. He created an environment to feel free to seek any kind of clarification. During one and half hour counseling session, he cleared all our apprehensions regarding surgery and created enormous confidence in us.

Big day was on 02.12.2019 when surgery is performed and on the same day evening she was shifted to ward. To our surprise, there was very minimal swelling on her face. On the third day, there was no pain and swelling at all and no plasters . She looks normal as if nothing happened to her. Her jaw line is very nice and appearance is improved a lot. She is discharged on 5th day and we met doctor at his clinic. He suggested some diet and other precautions to be followed for next few weeks. I am surprised to watch a world class surgeon to demonstrate personally about oral cleaning.

I am of the opinion that he is having some magic in his hands. God gifted skill. We are fortunate enough to finally landed at Best place and getting operated by such a great person.

Last but not the least , mention about Dr.Neetha. She is like our family member who welcomes us at clinic with smile, clarifying all our doubts, clearing all our fears, giving lots of confidence. We feel like she is with us all time.

We are very happy to share review here on my son 8 years old successful operation for removing of CYST in Lower Jaw conducted by Prof Dr.David.

Before consult Prof Dr.David, we are very afraid on situation by hearing different statements that really created panic in whole family.God grace we consult Dr.David and explained about the condition. Really we came out from hospital with 50% of relief in first meeting itself.

Doctor gave that much relief in first meeting itself by checking the condition throughlly, explained situation, filled confidence on opeartion and the way of guided parents to not panic.It,'s really adorable and no words to explain.

Problem: Cyst removal in lower jaw to my son of 8 years of age

Treatment: They treated like family and fixed appointments for health check  continiously by remainding us on instructions to follow post operation. That itself shows the way they respect their profession and care about patient.

Cost: everyone think about cost, yes I. That we are happy to say that it's very much reasonable compared to others.

Some incidents in life was difficult to face and digest but doctors give some relief and confidence to come out of that incidents. Same happened in our life and we came out only because of Dr.David.

I had a square jaw due to which my face looks shorter n i am not confident enough in my life to face the society like how other gudlooking men can. I wanted to get that corrected so started searching for good korean surgeons but it was my great luck that i met Dr David sir for another issue (small scar below my eye which he treated really well) and accedentally i came to know that he has corrected lot of assymetrical square faces in India but still i am not sure whether mine can be corrected then i started checking out his past patients record n found one person whose jaw looks exactly like mine then i got complete confidence on him. Neeta has made things easy for me to understand n has always handled everything with care. I would highly recommend Dr.David for Scar revision/removal. I had visited Dr David for scar removal on my face. I was having scar since my childhood & I had small plastic surgery for that but it didn't went well. Since then I have stopped thinking about my scar as I don't want to take risk again. One year ago I thought I would plan for surgery if I found best doctor then I started searching for cosmetic/plastic surgery doctor & I had visited few doctors but I did not get confidence to proceed further but I have got confidence the day I met Dr.David at Taulins clinic. Dr explained very well about procedure. I have immediately booked an appointment for procedure without any second though and it really went well. I had followed all the post procedure activities exactly how the doctor prescribed. After 6 months I could observe that 85 to 90 % of the scar is removed.
