Dr. Basava Chetan

Dr. Basava Chetan Guggari is a Consultant Psychiatrist based in Bengaluru, with an MD in Psychiatry from M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru. He has a special interest in Psychosexual Medicine, Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, De-addiction and is experienced in the comprehensive assessment and management of sexual dysfunctions, relationship issues, and other psychosexual difficulties in both men and women. He integrates pharmacological treatment with structured counselling and psychoeducation, providing a confidential, non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to discuss sensitive concerns and improve their sexual and emotional well-being. His broader clinical work also covers mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and stress-related conditions, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based, person-centred care.
