He has more than three decades of experience in neurology and medical education, with a particular professional interest in stroke and neurovascular disorders.He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Mysuru, MD in General Medicine from Government Medical College, Mysuru, and DM in Neurology from NIMHANS, Bengaluru. He has also completed a WHO Fellowship in Neurovascular Intensive Care in the USA. Areas of interest include stroke and neurovascular disorders, general neurology, headache and migraine, epilepsy, movement disorders, neurological pain and sensory disorders, and neurovascular intensive care."
