I am writing this review to express my gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Aritra Ghosh, a General Surgeon in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

My wife recently underwent a medical procedure under his guidance, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the level of expertise and compassion displayed by Dr. Ghosh.

Dr Aritra Ghosh came and met my wife as soon as I got admitted in emergency and understood all the previous history regarding my health issue. He did explain things in a detailed manner regarding the upcoming treatment procedure and later to me, which was pretty much satisfactory and helped us to take the decision on the further treatment/surgery. Even before the surgery, he boosted my confidence by explaining things again and again until I was crystal clear. The surgery went fine and after the surgery also he has done every possible things to monitor things due to the criticality and ensured all normal before I was discharged. Personality wise also he is super friendly and reachable. I would strongly recommend for Dr Aritra Ghosh. Thank you so much sir for providing a permanent solution of my disease, although I am into recovery mode still.

I very much recommend Dr. Aritra Ghosh to everyone. A very experienced surgeon who will put you at ease and definitely cure your condition. I was suffering from external hemorrhoids and fissure for almost three years. After a lot of unsuccessful non surgical treatments (allopathic/ayurvedic/homeo), I finally decided to go the surgical way. I went to Pristyn a year back, and they recommended a laser hemorrhoidopexy and sphincterotomy. They promised less pain and immediate recovery in laser procedure as compared to open surgery. Hence I went ahead with the laser procedure. However I had post surgical pain for around a week (i had to take pain killer). The hemorrhoids were cured in 2 weeks but the fissure condition remained. The fissure worsened and the pain increased. Going to washroom was literally a nightmare for me everyday.Finally after a year of the laser surgery, I went to Dr. Aritra Ghosh. He initially prescribed non surgical treatment for a week and told me that he will go ahead with surgery only if it didn't work. As there was no much effect, he prescribed an open surgery (he said he doesn't believe in laser). I was sceptical at first, but he assured me of assured results and that the post surgical recovery process won't be as painful as I was thinking. I went ahead with the surgery anyway. To my surprise, both the surgical process and post surgical recovery process was much better than the previous laser procedure. I didn't have considerable pain post surgery and stopped taking pain killers in two days. Everything is normal now and I am happy that I found the right doctor.

Recently visited Dr. Ghosh for occasional pain in the lower abdomen that was not settling with medication. Was diagnosed having desmoid tumor and was advised surgery if pain persists. Had the surgery 6 months later.

Happy that Dr. Ghosh diagnosed my condition and planned my treatment very systematically giving me a lot of options and not rushing me for surgery. Infact he helped me plan for surgery at a convenient time when I was able to take a break from work.

Before surgery Dr. Ghosh explained the procedure in detail, post op, cost, insurance.(went back to him a couple of times after discharge since mine was not a cashless settlement) and I've found him to be quite patient with my queries.

Before surgery, I was worried about the mesh that would be implanted, specially about whether this would affect my life post surgery. But my recovery was fast and I recall having very little discomfort post op.

Got back to work within a week and since then I've been doing great.

After a routine health checkup, I was diagnosed with multiple gallstones. I went to multiple gastro and found out that the only option for gallstone is to get the gallbladder removed. I was worried (as I recently got married and was worried a surgery would create complications for future pregnancies). I consulted with Dr. Aritra Ghosh and he eased all my worries. He mentioned that rather, if gallstones create problems during pregnancy then complications arise. I decided to get the gallbladder surgically removed. His friendly nature and explanation helped me be at ease. The female doctor (Dr. Shweta) who sits with him at Manipal Whitefield is also really nice.

I'm highly grateful to Dr Aritra Ghosh, the way he handled my case was commendable. Before consulting him, I was seeing another doctor who didn't do a proper diagnosis and because of her my case was complicated. When I consulted Dr Aritra Ghosh, in first consultation only he diagnosed the issue and recommended for the surgery. After the surgery I am free from the pain and getting back to normal. If you have come across Dr Aritra Ghosh then you are in safe hands and can completely trust his diagnosis and treatment.

We visited Dr. Aritra Ghosh for my Fathers’ hernia issue. Sir explained us about the condition and need of surgery as this was the only available option for his problem. With his previous history of Open heart surgery we are little bit skeptical for another surgery with in same year. But after once Sir explained all the facts regarding hernia , the operation procedure and the risk in details my father got confidence. The operation went well and he got discharged within a day and recovery rate was also faster. Post op checkup and follow up were also taken care very well. Sir listened to all the concern carefully and answered them patiently. We are assured my father was very well taken care of & in good hands. I would definitely recommend Dr.Aritra Ghosh to others. We visited Dr. Aritra Ghosh for my mother’s highly painful chronic anal fissure and multiple hemorrhoids (piles). Sir explained us about the condition and need of immediate surgery very well. It is one 6 weeks from the date of surgery now and my mother has recovered wonderfully and relieved from all the pain already. Throughout this entire process of surgery and recovery stage, Aritra Sir was highly supportive and motivating. We are glad and blessed to have my parents treatment done by Sir.
