Doctor Ankur had advised discharge of my new born baby in the second day when the baby's jaundice levels was low, which was great. But the follow up was advised on 7th day of birth. By that time baby had higher bilrubin level. In the follow up consultation , The doctor advised to perform jaundice tests and asked to immediately admit to the hospital in NICU. The baby was doing good hence we were reluctant to admit in NICU and then it was admitted to General ward and photothreapy was done which lowered the Jaundice level of the baby.
more..Dr Ankur discharged my baby after knowing that baby had jaundice and called for follow up checkup after one day of discharge. My baby bilirubin was too high and his statement was: as expected. If you are expecting this then you should not discharge. He kept my baby three days in hospital(2days nicu and 1day ward) *** ** *** *** ***** ************* ** ***** ***** ***** He is very arrogant , impolite *** ************ ******* He is always coming late in nicu visit, opd everywhere. You have to wait for him. I would not recommend to anyone.
After delivery, he was assigned as our paediatrician. He was rude, not guiding properly instead he was scaring us saying your baby is having jaundice and if doesnt put on weight you will have to admit him and he was calling us again and again to the hospital and with the improvement in weight of the baby, he was still scaring us that this is not sufficient. When i tried checking with other doctor, ** *** ** **** **** *** ***** ****** *** ** ****** ** *** **** ** *********** ******* ** ******
more..Doctor had signed a messed up discharge summary which mentioned c-section and normal delivery in the same report. I had a normal delivery. during consultation, specifically told him the same, however he wrote c-section in all the follow up reports. also, insisted on formula feeding. I felt too dejected and was not very comfortable the way he approached new born care.
