Dr. Anitha Chandra

Dr. Anitha Chandra is a consultant psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry. She completed Psychiatry training from the UK and is a member of Royal College of Psychiatrists.She holds CCT in Psychogeriatrics. She has good exposure to training Doctors and other Healthcare professionals. She is interested in innovation in healthcare and has established Senior day center and home care n her previous roles in India. She is interested in Organisational wellbeing and has given several talks to corporates and teaching faculties.Dr. Anitha completed MBBS from Mysore Medical College and lived abroad for about 12 years. She gained Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrists, the UK in 2008. She has further specialized in Geriatric Psychiatry. She returned to India last year to extend her work and set up the foundation of good mental health in Bangalore. She presently practices Psychiatry across all age groups including adults, older adults, addictions, and neuropsychiatry. She is involved in awareness programs and creating innovative settings for mind care.
