Dr. Amita Bhandarkar is an Internal Medicine Specalist with a Distance Fellowship in Diabetes Management. She has an experience of 17 years post MD. Dr Amita completed MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 1998, MD - Internal Medicine from Grant Medical College in 2002 and Distance Fellowship in Diabetes Management from Christian Medical College, Vellore in 2011. Her special interest lies in managing and treating Chronic Disorders such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Thyroid, Metabolic/Lipid Disorders and others alongwith critical care cases and acute conditions such as Dengue, Pneumonia, Enteric Fever, Allergies and other infectious and inflammatory diseases. She practices integrated medicine by lifestyle modification and advising preventive healthcare.Dr Amita believes in treating patients holistically with compassion and empathy. She is an avid traveller and loves spending time with children.
