Dr. Akram Syed

I have been consulting Dr Akram for more than 16 years for my daughters. He is a very good Pediatrician, nice person and well experienced doctor. All the tests, medications, prescriptions and suggestions have always helped. It is rare to get such a Doctor who continuously helps with his experience, identifies cause perfectly, treats with acumen-ship and is kind at heart.

My kid is 4 years and i have been consulting doctor Akram for 3- 4 years..My experience is quite good n i personally recommend him.He never recommended any extra testing etc and usually his medicine suits my kid..* **** *** **** ******* * he will speak only to the point.

He recommended Dolopar-250 worth 43 rs and said he is having only viral...but u bring ur son after 3-4 days..And my son was not having fever on the 4rd day only weakness was their...So I went to Apollo thought Dr Akram asked me to come.

On 4 th day Dr Akram given list of test

1- Complete blood count

2- Dengue Profile

3- Malarial Antigen Rapid (Card)

4- C Reactive Protein

5- Typhit Dot

total cost of test =3,000.

And all the test were Nagative.

Only for sake of money he has given these test...and one more important thing that he asked to have these test not from Apollo clinic,But from "add-onScans &Labs"..

Is this right way of earning money by Doctor's ?

Please tell where we should go where we can have genuine treatment ...

We visited Dr. Akram on 15th June for chicken pox and MMR vaccines and immediately after it my son got high fever and dizziness while we were back to home. He called us immediately to clinic and expressed his inability to handle the case and asked to admit my son to Sakra. What's more, he spoke to us in a very bad tone and humiliated us in front of his staff. Will strongly recommend everyone to ignore this doctor and consult some other pediatric instead.

Over subscription of antibiotics. Took my kid for a cold and ear pain. Told him clearly that he has no ear pain now, just want to confirm that he has no infection.

Immediately without even examination he said I will put him on antibiotics.

And suggested to take it from the pharmacy he suggested.

Went for a second opinion with another doctor, found that there was no infection at all. Ear pain was just side effect of cold and is very common in kids.

Please be careful before visiting this doctor.

clinic was closed though appointment was booked and no one informed us .. we reached there and found it locked

I have been consulting this doctor for my three kids for the past 10 years..Overall satisfied with his treatment.He never writes any tests unless it is really needed.Straight forward.

I take appointment for my son,when i went appolo clinic,doctor was not there,** * **** ** ********* *** *** ****** ** **** ****

We have gone for 14weeks vaccination, doctor was friendly and kind enough in answering to our clarification and questions. Especially the timing, he was on time and we were able to meet doctor with out waiting for a long time.
