Dr. Ajay Shetty

Dr. Ajay Shridhara Shetty is a Sr. Consultant Urologist and Andrologist besides a Specialist in Renal Transplantation.Hailing from Mangalore, he did his schooling in Mumbai and thereafter underwent basic medical education and training at JSS Medical College Mysore, completing his MBBS in 1999. He had the benefit of comprehensive general surgical training at the Bangalore Baptist Hospital, which was adjudged as the best DNB training hospital in the country.He was awarded the Dr.B.Ramamurthy DNB Gold medal for General Surgery in 2004 at the national level. After two years of teaching and academics at a medical college, he then went on to complete his DNB-Urology training at Muljibhai Patel Centre in Nephro-Urology, in Nadiad, Gujarat, a Centre of Excellence of international repute, under the guidance and leadership of renowned Urologist Dr. Mahesh Desai.
