This may be short story as I was waiting for a quite long time..Initially I visited the clinic with my tooth ache..basically before I got the tooth pain I consulted with Dr. Ravinder for a decay with my wisdom tooth which was almost 2 years back. During that time there was no pain but I got a decay where all the food particles were getting stuck. Doctor advised me to extract the wisdom tooth otherwise that may damage the near by tooth(2nd molar).Since that time I was not having pain I thought to wait and watch rather than going for extraction and have the pain post extraction as I was scared..So, I delayed for around 2 years.. suddenly one day I started feeling sensitivity and pain for which I visited the clinic almost 3 months back..then Dr. Ravinder told me that the pain was coming from the 2nd molar tooth and not from wisdom tooth..the treatment would be Wisdom tooth extraction and then may be the RCT of 2nd molar..but that would be after investigating the X-ray post extraction. Then, I thought I really delayed it ..and I would have extracted the wisdom tooth when the Dr. advised me 2 years back..I would have saved my 2nd molar. I went for wisdom tooth extraction successfully and then did the X-ray where I came to know that half of my 2nd molar tooth was damaged as the wisdom tooth was erupted horizontally..
more..Visited For Root Canal Treatment (RCT)
Had a tooth that was paining. Turned out it needed a root canal, other option was extracting it. Dentalign's Dr Ravinder did the diagnosis and told me what was the issue and possible complications even after the root canal cos the tooth was shaking slightly so I knew what to expect even after the procedure. Excellent patient manner he had very soothing and friendly and reassuring. Even kept up a live commentary saying this might hurt when injecting the anesthetic so at all stages you're aware, but I didn't even feel the needle at all! Then Dr Aditi took over. She was also excellent super friendly and reassuring and kept telling me what she was going to do and doing, checking with me if I felt pain along the way telling me to let her know so she could stop if needed. I felt absolutely nothing during the whole root canal. Which was a big surprise for me. The only discomfort was from stretching my mouth wide for the hour that it took and my cheek kinda felt used like a muscle that hadn't been worked for a long time. I had read reviews on practo and in fact had not gone to another dentist on sunday, waiting instead for monday when dentalign opened. It was a good call! I just wish all doctors were so warm friendly and made patients feel completely at ease. I was a walk in patient luckily didn't have to wait too much and got attended to practically immediately. Slight throb in the tooth but the pain killer takes care of that. Apparently this is common and should disappear in a few days when the tissue etc heals. If you're like me and have been putting off a dentist visit out of fear you should visit these guys. Thy don't feel like 'dentists' at all but a chilled out place where the problem gets taken of without any pain and that's the best thing I can say! Also the digital handling of files is awesome! Getting the bill emailed and X-rays emailed is good to save paper and convenient also for storage. And yeah the clinic itself looked well maintained clean and neat.
I recommend Dr. Aditi Chandra. The consultation was positive and I felt confident in her care.
