*** ******** ** * *** ** * ****** **** ** ***** ** ******** **** I had the chance to visit him in the month of April this year because i had difficulty in breathing through my nose while playing sports. I had DNS (Deviated Nasal Septum), and had my CT scan done as well to check for other complications and found out that i had severe sinus on my other nostril.

I planned for a DNS surgery with Dr. Diptarka in the fag end of May. Right from the health insurance application to the admission at Sparsh Hospital, everything was taken care by doctor’s team, and handled pretty smoothly. I went through a surgery called Endoscopic Sphenoethmoidectomy where my acute sinuses and the obstructed bilateral OMC was treated. Post op was smooth with doctor’s guidance and after my first cleaning post op, I felt like I’ve had a rebirth because this is the first time i was able to inhale so much air through my nostrils after decades. My daughter aged 3 years 10 months had swollen adenoids. They had reached her ears and completely blocked her nose. Both her nostrils showed sign of sinuses as well. With every infection she caught the adenoids became even more swollen. She was snoring at night whole time for past 5-6 months. We visited Dr. Diptarka when one of my friend recommended him. On our very first visit we were told everything about the problem and how my daughter 100% needed a surgery for her adenoids. I had an appointment scheduled for 5:15 PM today and reached the clinic at exactly 5:00 PM. Despite arriving early, I was moved through two different waiting areas, spending around 15 minutes in each, and then waited for nearly another 30 minutes inside the consultation room.

The doctor was present at the clinic, but there was no communication about the delay or what was causing it. We even checked with the staff to see if there was an emergency or some other situation preventing the doctor from attending, but apparently there wasn't.

I completely understand that medical emergencies can sometimes cause delays, but keeping a patient waiting for almost an hour ******* *** *********** ** ****** is simply unacceptable, especially when the appointment was scheduled in advance.

A healthcare professional's time is important, but so is the patient's time. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel that the latter was not respected at all.***** * ***** ********** **** *** **** *********** ***********

Visited for voice hoarseness following a throat infection, quick scopy showed a lession on vocal cord. Doctor explained the condition well and laid out conservative treatment plan initially. As conservative treatment did not help for over a month we decided to proceed with a surgery. The entire process was very well co-ordinated, the surgery itself was smooth. Doctor and the staff were available to help throughout the process. Post surgery the biopsy reports were discussed promptly assuring they were benign. Also other post op follow ups were smooth and medications were thoroughly given ensuring good recovery in less than a month.
