Dr. Chitra is a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified dermatologist with 5 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions. With a passion for providing personalized care, she specializes in both general dermatology, treating conditions like hair loss, acne, eczema, and pigmentation disorders , as well as cosmetic dermatology, offering services such as chemical peels, and laser treatments to help patients achieve healthy, youthful-looking skin.Dr. Kamath graduated from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences with honors and completed dermatology residency at the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital(Sion Hospital). She has also completed her DNB in Dermatology from National Board of Examinations(NBE). Throughout her career, Dr. Chitra has earned a reputation for combining the latest medical innovations with a deep understanding of skin health, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care. Dedicated to education and advancing the field of dermatology, Dr. Kamath stays current with the latest research and technology in skincare and is an active member of the Indian Association of Dermatologists , Venerologists and Leprologists and is the recipient of many awards for paper presentations, including the prestigious Arvind Lonkar Award for the best dissertation project in 2023. Outside of work, Dr. Chitra is a trained classical Carnatic music singer and takes active interest in playing badminton and basketball.
