I recently had the opportunity to consult "Dr. Bushra Bahjat" at "The Bangalore Hospital" for my mother, who was experiencing sudden pain in the stomach and lower back region. From the very first interaction, Dr. Bushra displayed an exceptional level of empathy, making sure to understand every aspect of my mother’s condition, including her symptoms, lifestyle, and medical history. She took the time to listen patiently and asked insightful questions to ensure nothing was overlooked.

Her approach to diagnosis was thorough and methodical. Instead of jumping to conclusions, she recommended all the relevant tests - blood tests, urine tests, and a CT scan - to rule out any major risk factors. This gave us confidence that the treatment would be based on concrete findings rather than just assumptions.

Even though the test reports were sent to her late at night, she promptly reviewed them and responded immediately. Such dedication and commitment to patient care are truly commendable. We are confident that the prescribed medications, along with lifestyle change recommendations will address the root cause rather than just the symptoms.

"The Bangalore Hospital" itself offered a good experience in terms of service and medical support. The pathology & the radiology departments were efficient, and the staff ensured the CT scan and other tests were conducted smoothly without unnecessary delays.

Dr. Bushra Bahjat's clinical acumen is indeed commendable. Almost sleuth like.\nCouple of years ago, I had taken my father to see her. My father was suffering from a painful condition on his finger digits - his end of the digits were discoloured (like blackened); the skin was ruptured and there was bleeding. The digits on his right hand were more affected than those on the left. It was very painful for him to even do regular executive functions.\nWe met with many specialists - Neurologists, Dermatologists, Diabetologists for two years across Kolkata and Bangalore, but to no avail.\n\nFinally, we met up with Dr. Bushra in Aster RV Hospital in Bangalore.\nIn just two meetings, Dr. Bushra figured out the root cause that was causing the problem. In the second meeting, she asked us a few questions:\n\n1. Did he do Puja himself?\n2. \u2060Did he do it daily?\n3. Is he a right handed person?\n4. \u2060Did he use flowers for his Puja activities?\n5. \u2060If yes, what kind of flowers did he use?\n\nThe answers to all the above questions were in the affirmative and among the many types of flowers he was using, Hibiscus was the main one. Dr. Bushra reached her conclusion that the pollen grains of the Hibiscus flower were causing an allergic reaction for my father and that he needed to stop that to get cured. His right hand was most affected because he was using his right hand more than his left hand while touching the flowers. She prescribed no medicines except some painkillers for a few days. She also advised him to avoid using Hibiscus flowers altogether and if doesn't want to, then to use gloves to cover his hands before touching the flowers. \n\nMy father became alright within a month or two. He is completely cured of the problem. What is most commendable is that Dr. Bushra spent time in diagnosing the root cause of the problem, using her clinical training. Very few modern-day doctors tend to spend time in doing clinical diagnosis to find out the root cause of the ailment. She also spends a lot of time with her patients, a very important aspect for a Doctor to be able to do a good clinical diagnosis. On top of that, Dr. Bushra is immensely compassionate and believes in a holistic approach while treating a patient.

I was recommended Dr. Bushra Bahjat by my brother after I had been dealing with an infection. Initially, I consulted another doctor, but I couldn’t quite understand the issue. Even after following the prescribed medication for three days, I didn't feel any improvement.

I decided to seek a second opinion from Dr. Bushra Bahjat, and I’m so glad I did. She was incredibly patient and calm, and she was able to diagnose the infection right away during my first consultation. What stood out the most was how thoroughly she explained my condition in terms that were easy to understand. Dr Bushra’s approach to treatment is like none other doctor I’ve met before. Initially I felt a little dissatisfied with the consult as the doctor gave me all solutions and lifestyle changes, explained the mind body connection of my symptoms. Where as I went looking for some further investigations for diagnosis. I was convinced that none of this would work.
