I have consulted Dr Balaji for my IBS and Gastric issues. He is keen to listen all our concerns and he will ask us questions to find out the actual issue. Had to admin my wife in an emergency situation as she can not sit or lie down due to severe pain in the back. Quick diagnosis (through scans and blood tests) by Dr. Balaji, while we were in emergency ward, showed significant accumulation of stones in gallbladder which the doc suggested had to be removed immediately. His friendliness very much helped in calming down my wife who otherwise is afraid of even an injection. I was more concerned about the mental agony my wife had to undergo, but with repeated assurances and explanations given by the doctor, she could overcome the fear and anxiety more easily than I anticipated. He was very patient in clarifying all the queries we had. It was easy to connect with him offline for minor clarifications and the follow-up sessions post the surgery were helpful in assuring my wife about her well-being. I would suggest him for any gastroenterology related issues.

The doctor does not have the patience to review the patient's history or understand their health issues. He is always in a hurry to leave the hospital and does not take the time to listen to the patient's concerns clearly. We are very disappointed with the consultation, and my mother felt nervous after meeting him. Not recommended at all.
