Dr. Anilkumar B U is an associate consultant in the Department of Laparoscopic, GI, and Bariatric Surgery. He finished his Undergraduate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2011. He went on to finish his Post graduation in DNB General Surgery from the National board of Examinations in 2016. Following which he worked in a high volume centre in Baroda, Gujarat where he honed his Surgical skills especially in Advanced Laparoscopy. He holds two Fellowships in Laparoscopy i.e., FIAGES and FMAS awarded by IAGES and AMASI respectively. He is a member of IMA, Society of American Gastrointestinal and endoscopic surgeons (SAGES). He is well versed in Basic and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeries including Laparoscopic Hernia, Gallbladder, Appendix, Anti reflux (GERD), OBESITY surgeries. He is proficient in LASER treatment for Hemorrhoids, fissure and fistula. He has a keen interest in Thyroid, breast, Gastrointestinal, Amputations and trauma surgeries. He also has a teaching experience having worked as an Assistant Professor in BGS GIMS Medical college.
