Doctors way of talking was so comfortable that we got relaxed after having lots of worries in our minds as parents and the way of treating the patient is very good especially the kid's. I recommend that he is a good doctor for children's of any age

A must visit for every parent if your child's long term health and wellness is your top priority. His healing examination of the child and responsiveness gives you ample confidence of cure. I have been visiting him since the 3rd day of my son's birth and I have never even thought of looking out for another doctor. Though, my family consulted other doctors, their opinions were no different than Dr.Anand's. Now, even for my family, the doctor's words are final in terms of his health. Vaccines are administered neatly with no side effects. Antibiotics are never suggested until it is absolutely necessary. A doctor who responds to you even in the wee hours of the day in case of emergencies.I have troubled him umpteen times due to my anxiety with repeated questions and he has kept calm all throughout. Even when out of town, he has suggested medicines due to which I had a breather until return and consult him. Because of the clarity of explanations,today, I am able to handle my kid without fear in case of any illness. I no more panic in situations relating to my child. Though, some parents may feel consultation slightly pricey, trust me, it is worth the spend. All my colleagues and friends to whom I have referred this doctor do visit him and none else now and their experience is also no different than mine. The confidence my son has on him is tremendous, that he says "mamma, please call doctor uncle and say ritvik is not well and I will be fine tomorrow". I guess that summarizes how good a doctor he is. In the present business minded medical world, Rest assured, the child's health and well being is the first and ultimate priority at this clinic.

Happy Visit

I am consulting Dr.Anand Rao for the past 4yrs and happy about the treatment all the time. Never prescribed too many medicines for my kids and one of the good doctor that I consulted who dont keep changing the prescription often.

Very few i wanted to mention is

1. Appointments can be organised as there are many ways to book it and that may reduce the waiting time

2. Consulting fee can be considered and reduced if possible.

*** ** *** **** ************* ** ***** We started taking Dr.Anand's consultation for my daughter when she was 9 months. She is now 5+ years. From her fever, stomach upset, Atopic dermatitis, allergies to her hand fracture, we can't think of any other doctor for consultation. He will write medicines only when its really required. He always listens to us patiently and do a thorough checkup, every time we have visited him. I trust him completely for my daughter and will definitely recommend him without any doubt.

Because of anti biotics she had got loose motions too.

After seeing wonderful feedback and ratings in practo, thought of visiting Dr Anand.

We were so happy after consulting Dr Anand. ** ********* ** ********* *** asked to stop all medicines and he said to wait for 3-4 days and the viral will go on itself. Its very difficult to get such doctors now a days.

** ***** ** * ***** ****** **I started visiting him in 2008 for vaccination of my just born daughter and in 2010 onwards we started visiting him for our son as well.We still kept visiting him even after moving to 8 kms away from the Doctor's clinic. My wife wouldn't trust any other doctor. For her, all other doctors are quacks :) .

One of the profound experience that I had with him was when I recently visited him for my daughter and he prescribed no medicines. And, he said to wait for few days . I was surprised a bit but I had faith in him and waited for few days. my daughter was fine after a week, without any medication !!!

Having had some not-so-good-experiences with couple of pediatrics for my son, I came to know about Dr Anand Rao through my apartment community. There is no looking back since then.

***** *** ** ** ******* ******* He has been my son's consult since he is 3months old. He radiates a positive aura which gives lot of comfort for a first-time-panicky-moms like me. He listens patiently and reassures. He is always smiling and approachable. Does not give medication unnecessarily. Although he is the most-sort-after doctor in the locality, unlike other doctors, getting his appointment is not a herculean task. This itself is the icing on the cake.

I would heartily recommend him to anyone who wish to try him out.

Dr. Anand Rao has been my children's doctor for the last 4+ years. He always listens very patiently, and makes the children comfortable. My kids like going to him. I have taken them for everything starting from a cold/cough to rashes and infections. He takes his time to judge/treat, and if unsure he immediately refers to a specialist. Going to him, I am sure that my children are never over-medicated, and, will be treated right.

I personally do not believe in giving medicines to children, and am glad to have found a doctor who is willing to take time and not medicate unnecessarily. Some of his remedies are very simple, and effective.

Dr Anand Rao has been our children's paediatrician for the last 15 years! Over the years he has become a very good family friend, as well, besides being the role model for our daughter who is now doing her 2nd year MBBS.

Few things that stand out are his very calm demeanour, high level of patience, top notch diagnosis and absolute minimal prescription of drugs! In the last 15 years his diagnosis has always been very accurate. As a parent, consulting him has always been comforting and reassuring as we know he will solve any illness or issue that we take up to him! My wife and I feel that we are indeed lucky to have come across someone like Dr Anand Rao!

One must be blessed/lucky to meet Dr Anand when children suffer with health issues. We have a 14yrs old and 7 yrs old. We started my first visit to Dr Anand when our elder one was 3 months old back in 2005 and from then I had visited Doctor many times for different problems .Always came back rest assured . We had gone to Manipal also few times to meet Doctor due to distance as we stayed in whitefield . I have always suggested my relatives and friends to meet Dr Anand whenever i heard of any health issue. For my sister's daughter he was the one to figure out some head related issue and saved her providing right direction . She is fine now jumping and dancing. It is a great experience for me for both kids , to me once we meet Dr Anand , most of the problem is solved. My younger child says "It has been so long that we met Dr Anand uncle, when are we meeting him again " and we will meet him soon for his adenoid issue that he is going through now . Every minute of waiting at either manipal or Vijaya Children hospital to meet him is worth .
