Dr. Abhishek R has Completed MBBS from the prestigious Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI), Mysore. He has done MD in Psychiatry , Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF) in Geriatric (Old-age) Psychiatry, and DM Superspecialisation in Geriatric (old-age) Psychiatry from NIMHANS, Bengaluru, the top most Psychiatric institute in the country. He has overall 8+ years of experience in General Adult Psychiatry and 4+ years of experience in Geriatric Psychiatry. He has gained clinical experience in the comprehensive assessment and management of adult psychiatric disorders such as addiction disorders, psychotic disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety spectrum disorders, etc., including medication management and psychotherapy. He also has got additional experience in the management of dementia and aging related memory and other cognitive issues, old age depression, and other psychiatric illnesses in elderly. During 8 years of rigorous training in NIMHANS, He has honed experience in comprehensive evaluation and management of various psychiatric disorders, psychotherapy, neuromodulation techniques, medication management, and research work.
